I only stayed one night at Jens’s campsite, but overall I was very satisfied. It’s a large meadow that’s quite steep in places, but it also has a flat area at the edge where I was able to set up my roof tent. You have a direct view of the Kyffhäuser Monument. You can reach it on foot via a hiking trail that runs right alongside the meadow. So I can highly recommend this campsite

Unique. There’s really no better way to put it. The site is situated in a quiet spot on the outskirts of the village, next to an open-air museum, in the middle of an orchard meadow. The only sounds you hear there are the buzzing and humming of insects and birdsong. The highlight—and the reason for my visit—the Kaiser Wilhelm Monument, is within walking distance and easily accessible on foot. My expectations were completely exceeded, and this certainly won’t be my last visit to this beautiful place.

A fantastically beautiful spot on earth. You are surrounded by fruit trees on a spacious meadow far away from the noise of civilization. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful place with a great view of the Kyffhäuser. Great communication with Jens. The meadow is absolutely quiet and dark at night, the monument shines on top of the mountain. Wonderful!
Very nice pitch. Quiet and with beautiful hiking opportunities. The host family is very nice and helpful. We were also able to fill up our water supplies.
A really beautiful spot on earth. Exactly as described and as you can see in the photos. Questions were answered very quickly. We only got to know the very friendly sons of the family personally, but they also emphasized that if you have any questions or problems, you will get help immediately. We were only there for one night. If you are looking for a place that promises absolute peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Waking up in the morning to the sound of birdsong and having breakfast in peace, it couldn't be nicer. The communication with Jens was also very good. An absolute recommendation.

Very easy communication and nice exchange. There are several pitches on a large meadow. We were in the upper part with a somewhat steep but feasible approach. We would gladly stay again.
We were able to spend wonderful days here in this beautiful idyll. The meadow with fruit trees and the beautiful view of the Kyffhäuser with its monument is secluded in the best sense of the word. Tilleda Castle, which is well worth seeing, is next door - hiking trails through the orchards and to the Kyffhäuser. The cordial host made the excursion an all-round successful experience.
