We stayed with the caravan for 8 days on this beautiful and idyllic site. Mari and Guido were very friendly, uncomplicated and helpful.

Our stay at the Ruridylle was very relaxing. The location is a dream and the adjacent stream is wonderful for falling asleep. I wasn't able to get to know Mariam directly, but she organized a competent replacement and we were well looked after. I would love to come back!

If you value peace and quiet and a relaxing vacation spot in general, this is the place for you. The hostess is very helpful, has knowledge of the local area and is super friendly. I would love to come back 👌🏼

We had an all-round wonderful stay at the Camping Ruridylle motorhome site! I was traveling with my 10-year-old son and we received a very warm welcome. The location directly on the Rur is beautiful. My son and I really enjoyed splashing around with our feet in the cold river - a real nature experience that was great fun for both of us! The surroundings are quiet and idyllic, ideal for switching off, exploring and recharging your batteries. Another highlight was our visit to the Schützenfest. Camping Ruridylle is a real insider tip - lovingly run, beautifully situated and perfect for anyone who appreciates nature and hospitality. We would love to come back!

Really nice spot right on the Rur. We really enjoyed walking in the area.

We spent two very nice nights on the meadow and it really is just idyllic with the stream rushing in the background. Super nice hosts! Clean sanitary facilities! We would love to come back again ☺️

Guido and Mariam are very friendly hosts and were always available if we had any questions. We felt very comfortable.

The site is very nice and Mariam and Guido were friendly and helpful! We were disappointed that despite booking months in advance (early Dec) and paying for all three pitches, we were not allocated the pitches with the trees marked with an arrow, but a pitch on the edge next to a small building site by the buildings. At times there were two camper vans on the highlighted pitches: one camper van was there when we arrived, but left in the afternoon/evening. Before it left, but much later than our arrival, another camper van arrived and set up opposite the first camper van. We therefore assumed that the pitch allocated to us was one pitch or a maximum of two pitches. But we should have clarified this with Mariam and Guido before we left.

It was just great. The place is huge and even if, like us, there are others staying here, you are so far away from each other that you are practically on your own. The access to the river is great, just like the hosts. I can only recommend using the bathroom (the shower replaces a massage). We would love to come back again.

If you are looking for peace and relaxation in nature, this is the right place for you, very nice hosts, completely uncomplicated, electricity available, shower and toilet use possible.

From the bottom of my heart ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Mariam and Guido and their fantastic property. I received a warm and friendly welcome. The property is just great with a large meadow and even a beautiful spot on the Rur. There is seating for guests, a fire pit and much more. For me, it was a successful weekend full of the peace and quiet I was longing for, lots of hiking and lovely people around me. Everything was just right here (including the neighborhood, by the way - best wishes to R. and my hospitable fellow guests). I would love to come back!

Five out of five stars - and gladly more, if it were possible! An idyllic place recommended in absolutely every respect, with extremely sympathetic, attentive and touching hosts. Thank you, Mariam and Guido, for what you have created. Where else can you find a seating area with table and chairs, parasol, fire bowl and even a barbecue? Plus other furnished places directly on your own, private "shore section of the Rur? For me, everything was absolutely perfect - total peace and quiet at the site, direct bikeable paths to and around the Rursee and the discovery of the Eifeler Landbier (thanks again for that, Guido ;) ). Many good reasons to definitely come back!

We really liked it at Mariam. Great property, totally quiet, virl nature, great located on the creek. Hiking trails in the Eifel and to / around the Rursee directly from the property. We will be happy to come back. :)

Very nice hosts. The place is beautiful and as the name suggests, very idyllic, with several seating options. Also a hammock and a giant chair for two to relax may be used. What has also driven us very much was the game offer for children with a huge trampoline and a nest swing. Thank you for the relaxing stay!

We had a wonderful afternoon, a quiet night and a sunny morning on the beautiful meadow and river, really a Ruridylle, wonderful to relax with relaxed and warm hosts. We will definitely come again!

Very warm hosts - we felt very comfortable. Actually we had come for hiking, thanks to the summer temperatures we preferred to spend most of the time at/in the cooling Rur directly at the property of Miriam and Guido. If you are looking for nature and tranquility, you should not miss this place. We will be happy to come back again :)

A very nice spacious place. The location on the adjacent stream is just wonderful to relax. Very nice and helpful hosts. Shower and toilet can be shared (if one of the adjacent apartment is free) for a small extra charge. In the immediate vicinity you have several opportunities for biking, hiking or SUPen ... I like to come back!

Unfortunately, we could not make the trip. But we will make up for that. We liked the contact with Mariam very much.

We were allowed to spend three quiet nights at Mariam 👍🏻😊 The reception was friendly and uncomplicated. Our children could romp on the lawn and stack stones at the Rur. The autumn sun made the time out perfect while cycling through the Eifel.

Mariam communicated well in advance to determine the arrival time. We were received very friendly. The site is a meadow behind a house with access to Rur. After the pictures in the hinterland portal I had expected a location further up, with a view over the Rurtal, however, the place is far down in the valley. Who wants can get electricity, or /and an opportunity to shower in the guest house. During the day you can hear the passing road, at night it is very quiet. For "only a pitch on a meadow seem to me 21.00 € per night not justified.

A really beautiful place. It's really calm and relaxing. You can just walk to a small river and just sit or eat there. And then the owners, also really nice and involved.

A wonderful spot, with babbling brook, lots of space and the friendliest hosts we can think of. What a relaxing evening, our first day of vacation, it felt like we had been on the road for a week, so relaxing was the stay. Important to know, it cools down considerably here at night, so warm bedding is helpful. We will definitely be back.

Hui, we were excited... it was our "first time" with Hinterland & we go home with a warm, more satisfied feeling and a smile on our face! Thanks for that! ❤️ Mari and Guido are two warm, fun, friendly and sensitive hosts with the right sense of "what do our guests need". With bare feet dangling in the river & a cold drink in hand, we just felt welcome and comfortable enjoying this beautiful spot of nature. I still have the smell of barbecue in my nose and also the crackling of the campfire in my ear. The next visit is planned and our friends we have also told about the great apartments, because even for non-campers there are cozy overnight accommodations. Rating: a wonderful time out!

A fantastically beautiful, large property directly on the Rur. The meadow is open and offers plenty of space. It is so nice and quiet that you can almost only hear the sound of the stream. Mariam and Guido are warm and open hosts, where you are immediately welcome. We felt super comfortable and look forward to a next time!

A beautiful site directly on the Rur on a huge meadow with wildflowers.every now and then a butterfly swings by.Not far from the Rursee with many hiking opportunities. A dream: you stand next to an old apple tree on a meadow on a loop of the Rur. The large and well-equipped property shared with the relaxed communicative hosts and guests of the vacation home. But since there are several places on the river, you can always be alone if necessary. Great area for hiking and biking. I will certainly come again :)

We had a few wonderful days and nights at this pitch and the very friendly hosts. The location is really idyllic and the two have made a lot of effort to make it nice for the guests there: In addition to electricity and water, there are several nice seating areas directly on the Ruhr, solar lights on the lawn and beautiful, decorative lights in many a tree, there are barbecue facilities, seating and even berths. We have lacked in purely nothing. Area is very nice to hike bspw. the Urftalsperre, you can visit the NS Ordensburg Vogelsang or book one of the trekking tent sites in the national park for an overnight stay in the tent in nature. We have recovered super at the splashing of the stream and can only recommend the place to everyone!
