We had the pleasure of spending a wonderful long Pentecost weekend there... The campsite had just been mowed... and the host was more than willing to accommodate additional campers... There’s a stunning sunset with a view of the valley... It’s priceless for self-sufficient campers and travelers who just want some peace and quiet... There are also several sights to discover not far from this spot... A few kilometers away, you’ll find beautiful hiking trails along the Saale River, such as the route to Ziegenrück, as well as circular hiking trails that feel very quiet and secluded yet still have their own charm... Thank you for that...

It is a really nice and quiet pitch in a great location with a wonderful view of the valley. Many sights can be reached by car in a short time. The very friendly hosts also provide electricity on request. A clear recommendation from us!
