We had a wonderful stay at the farm. The hosts are incredibly friendly and accommodating. You can tell the farm is run with love. The many animals and the delicious baked goods were an absolute highlight. We’ll definitely be back.

If you're looking for peace and relaxation combined with warm hospitality, this is the perfect place for you. The farm is home to many animals, which is great for kids, yet you still have plenty of peace and quiet, situated at the very end of a valley with a stunning view. Hiking trails start right from the property. In the evening, you can head to the sauna on the farm after the hostess, Monika, prepares a delicious dinner upon request. There’s also a farm shop with drinks and regional products. Thank you so much for everything. We’ll be back.
A very charming horse farm in the Black Forest, nestled in an idyllic valley. The family is incredibly friendly. Everything described in the listing is 100% accurate. Highly recommended for families with children who love horseback riding. The little shop offers rare varieties of honey. We’d definitely go back anytime. 🍀🐎

We had a fantastic time at Friedershof and highly recommend it. The hosts, Gustl and Monika, are simply amazing! You can tell right away that they run their farm with passion. They are incredibly helpful, always ready to offer advice and assistance, and truly leave nothing to be desired. From the very first moment, you don’t feel like a stranger, but rather like you’re visiting friends. The campsite is absolutely fantastic with a beautiful view. If you’re looking for a warm atmosphere and great hosts, this is the perfect place for you. We’ll definitely be back!
A very nice farm with a lot to offer. We felt very comfortable there.
Very friendly and accommodating hosts. There’s a small farm shop on the property where you can order items like fresh bread rolls, and dinner is available by arrangement. There’s foosball and billiards. From the campsite, which has electricity hookups and is located near the forest, you can see far into the valley. Various hiking trails, such as the Vesperwanderweg or the Genießerpfad, are easily accessible. We can wholeheartedly recommend this place. Sven and Michel
We went camping over the weekend and really enjoyed it despite the constant rain! 😊 The atmosphere was really nice and relaxed. Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and welcoming, so we felt completely at home. We'll definitely be back!

We stayed at this great place over the weekend, surrounded by nature, animals and a lot of peace and quiet. We were very nicely received by the hostess and felt very welcome and comfortable. Everything was very uncomplicated. We can highly recommend this place and its hosts.
A beautiful, lovingly run farm with a fantastic location and wonderful views of meadows and horses! Monika and August are warm hosts who immediately make you feel welcome. There is plenty for children and adults to discover - from riding and playing to the relaxing sauna. Everything is very well looked after, the bread rolls are delicious and the atmosphere is wonderfully calm and informal. A place to feel good and come back to - absolutely recommendable!

Monika and August run a gem in the Black Forest. The farm offers unique experiences such as trout fishing and horse riding, sauna and a super nice clean shower, farm store and lounge with beer in the fridge and an indoor play barn, community evenings directly at the playground between the paddocks and a fantastic view from the pitch. We felt very comfortable with 4 children and a dog and didn't leave the farm once during our 3 days there. We would love to come back if we can. LG

Very easy communication in advance. Super nice hostess. The pitch on the equestrian farm was very clean and had a beautiful view of the valley. We had a great time at the farm! The children had a lot of fun and the riding lessons were great! We were there with a large caravan. The steep driveway to the pitch is not without its difficulties and maneuvering on the gravel at the pitch is not so easy. But it worked out and you are rewarded with a great view! Definitely worth it!
A place to fall in love with, where hospitality is a top priority! You can start hikes directly from the campsite. However, we could hardly get the children off the farm and simply enjoyed the wonderful view, the animals looked after with a lot of heart, the barbecue and playground, the playroom, the stable work and the nice atmosphere. The driveway to the pitch is quite steep but easily manageable on a gravel path. Electricity directly at the pitch, water can be collected at the farm. Chem WC emptying and gray water possible in 15 minutes drive. Shower, washbasin and WC can be used on the farm. If you want, you can also use the sauna, farm store, home-cooked food and of course riding on the well-trained horses during the week. We will definitely be back! Greetings Judith
The location of the two pitches is great. We had beautiful sunsets. Fresh water on site would be great. The farm, the hosts, the location, the animals, the playground... it was a really great vacation.
Thank you for the lovely stay on your farm. We felt very comfortable. Clean WC, shower, great sauna, The farm store is also very nice, with lots of tasty things. Unfortunately, I had to put a point on it because the pitch is very small. When we arrived there was already a caravan team on the pitch that had set up its awning so there wasn't really much space for us even with a caravan.... We say THANK YOU to the nice hosts and wish you all the best.
Monika and August are great hosts. They really made you feel welcome and were quick to help with any questions. The place is wonderfully located in the middle of nature and the sauna is an extra highlight. We will definitely be back.
Stay was great. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating despite the spontaneous booking. The pitch is somewhat secluded with a very nice view over the courtyard and the small valley. The toilet, shower and sauna were nevertheless within easy reach. The lovely farm store was also able to provide us with a few things :)

My stay was just great. Everyone was super nice and helpful. As my dogs weren't feeling well, a soup of potatoes and carrots was cooked for them without further ado. The food was delicious, the sauna (you have it to yourself), shower and toilet were very clean. The farm store also left nothing to be desired. Ham (you have to try it!), bread rolls, bread, eggs etc. everything is there. But what I liked best of all was the interaction with the animals. Whether cat, dog, horse or cow, they are all part of the family here and everyone is looked after. The horses are well trained so that they can do their job as school horses and are regularly corrected (which is also not a matter of course). I am simply thrilled! I was traveling with a roof tent and had a fantastic view of the mountains and the riding arena from the arena. The pitch is made of gravel, so a hammer for the pegs is definitely an advantage. The electricity is close by. If it has rained, it can get a bit muddy at the start of the pitch, so it's better to pack an extra towel for your dog's paws, but you can certainly borrow one if needed. It's only a few meters from the pitch to the hiking trails and you don't have to pass people or other dogs to get there (which suited my two dogs very well). The hosts are very nice, the communication went very well, unfortunately we couldn't make the trip due to illness.
Yes, the access road to the site is not without its problems, but our car with only 900cc and 90 hp managed to get the 750 kg on the hook onto the pitch at the first attempt. And it was really worth it, great view, nice hosts, clean toilet and shower, farm store with delicious things, what more could you want. Cell phone reception varies depending on the provider at the site, we were able to make phone calls and surf the web at a leisurely pace. But you always have fast internet downstairs in the lounge. If we are in the area again, we would love to stay here.

A lovely stay. The location has beautiful views, but even more than this the hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Very good facilities, especially if you are using a roof tent or tent like us (even a warm room to eat in bad weather, which is a treat!)
A wonderful place to relax. The view is magnificent and the amenities (the friendliness of the operators, sauna, shower, toilet, farm store, lounge with delicious coffee,...) offer everything your heart desires. The sound of the stream is always in the background. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

We spent a few wonderful days with Monika and August. The two of them make every effort to offer the perfect solution and a great vacation for every guest. The area is really beautiful and great for hiking. We were there with two small children and a dog and really felt at home. Especially the playground and the many animals on the farm are great with children. The shower and toilet are also very clean. We would love to come back!

It was a very nice weekend there, very nice hosts, everything was great ☺️
A dream for families with children! The two pitches are located above the farmhouse on the edge of the forest and the paddock and have a fantastic view of the valley. The access road is about 200 meters long over a steep gravel path. My towing vehicle couldn't manage it, but fortunately no problem with the landlord's Touareg ;) The farmhouse also has a really wonderful sauna and shower, as well as water connections and a toilet. Electricity is available directly at the site. The pitch is gravelled and not completely straight. So don't forget to bring wheel chocks (I had forgotten). There is no cell phone reception at the site and WLAN is only available at the farmhouse. So not really suitable for remote working ;) On the farm there are horses, ponies, goats, chickens, rabbits, a well-behaved farm dog and very nice hosts. The farm shop sells home-made schnapps, liqueurs, fresh eggs, sausages etc., as well as drinks. Western riding lessons, pony rides/hikes and horseback rides are also possible. You can set off on hikes directly from the pitch. At the hut at the Kreuzsattel, for example, there are great homemade cakes and nice conversations. With an 18-month-old toddler and as solo travelers, the steep path to the farm (to get water or shower) was sometimes a bit exhausting, but we will definitely be back next year and are very happy to have found such a paradise.

Very nice campsite in the middle of nature and yet with every conceivable luxury! The shower and WC are excellent. If it rains you can find a dry place in the recreation room and when it's sunny you can go horse riding, fishing etc. on the farm. There is also a playground for children

A somewhat steep pitch, but with enough horsepower, no problem at all, super great, helpful hosts, who pulled our Wowa onto the pitch and from then on it was a vacation like in a movie, with an amazing view of the valley, despite almost constant rain, an incredibly beautiful terrain and hiking trails, lots of fun and animal proximity for the children, clean toilet and a wonderful sauna and shower oasis, a nice farm shop, simply beautiful, thanks for the three nights and our son really said goodbye :Goodbye. Monika and August are great hosts! The communication in advance and on site was flawless. Monika spontaneously provided us with bratwurst and turkey steaks, and we stocked up on homemade jam and drinks in the farm store. Everything was totally uncomplicated! The offer around the farm is as described. The pitch for the two camping vehicles is located above the farm on a pasture. Ideal for friends traveling with two vehicles!
