We were very warmly welcomed and instructed. Large pitch that we were allowed to use on our own. Super location, right next to the heathland. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.
We are repeat offenders. Out of conviction! Super nice, uncomplicated and fast contact with Verena. Except on request, you have the large meadow to yourself. If you want to go for walks / hikes and / or bike tours in the heath, you won't find a better place. Just walk through the garden door and you're right in the middle of it all. If you are traveling with dogs, this is a dream place. We are repeat offenders and will definitely be back.
We stayed with Verena for two nights to get away from it all. A wonderful place with a huge choice of where to stay. Verna is a very nice and friendly hostess and explained to us everything we needed to know about what we could do on the quiet, almost detached property. The beautiful heath is just a few minutes walk away. We liked it so much that we will definitely come back. Pure relaxation. Many thanks Verena

Verena gave us a warm welcome. The pitch is a wonderful retreat off the beaten track in the Lüneburg Heath. A small path right in front of the meadow leads directly into the picturesque heathland. The nearby Pietzmoor is also easy to reach by bike. Thank you very much! We would love to come back.
We, 2 people and 2 dogs with our caravan, were warmly welcomed by Verena. Verena had sent us all the important information in advance as a video. We were able to get electricity and water by prior arrangement. The meadow is idyllic, trees provide shade and you are right on the hiking trail into the heath. We really enjoyed our little break and can highly recommend Verena's Idyll!
Hello everyone, the contact with Verena was very good and cordial. The pictures corresponded to the pitch, but hardly do it justice. It was freshly mowed before we arrived. It really is an idyll. The pitch offers plenty of firm ground and lots of shady corners. Especially recommended with a dog. You can get to the main road quickly and easily, but the meadow is still far away from any traffic. The heathland was only about 800 m away and invited you to hike. The hotspots of the heath are a bit out of the way but that's good for the pitch. We spent over three hours on the heath and didn't meet a soul (early August). To get to the tops Wilseder Berg or Totengrund (approx. 13 km "one way") you have to plan a day trip or better take bikes with you. We will definitely be back.....
So, if you are looking for peace and quiet, want to go hiking and/or are traveling with dogs, Verena is the right place for you. She offers a really large meadow, electricity and water. Verena is a nice and completely uncomplicated hostess. The communication was great. As she couldn't be there when we arrived, she made us a short video with the most important information beforehand. Mega cool. You can walk into the heath directly from the meadow. Fantastic. Verena is at the top of our watch list for the region. Thank you!
