The meadow is idyllically situated by the stream, just as described, and is the perfect base for exploring the Westerwald (or simply dipping your feet in the stream or the nearby swimming lake). And the friendly hostess makes you feel right at home. The only downside worth mentioning for the sake of completeness: the road leading into the village runs behind the meadow. So you hear cars from time to time (including at night). But if that doesn’t bother you, this is a great place to stay.
We had a really wonderful and relaxing time with Julia and her family 😊 The place was quiet, surrounded by nature, and just perfect for unwinding. What really stuck with us was their warmth and helpfulness. After my drone unfortunately crashed into the stream 🙈, Julia and her husband really tried everything to help us and even looked for the right tools. That was absolutely not something we could have expected. Thank you ☺️ You can just tell that the hosts here are people with a lot of heart 🤍 We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.
We were there last Saturday and Sunday, and it was absolutely wonderful! Benedikt gave us such a warm welcome, and we had a great chat☺️ It’s a lovely place with truly beautiful surroundings. It’s definitely worth a visit! We’ll definitely be back!
Everything was great! We stayed here for a few days over New Year's Eve (with dog) and felt very comfortable. Gladly again at any time :)
We had a great stay! Fantastic campsite in a virtually secluded location. The stream is super beautiful, really a little paradise - we really enjoyed it! :) The owners were also super nice & quick, helpful communication in advance, everything was perfect!

We had a fantastic time on this pitch! Julia and Bene are very nice hosts. The quiet location was perfect for us and our two dogs. The stream was a real highlight for our four-legged friends, who were able to cool off wonderfully there. There were also great opportunities for long walks in the forest. We would love to come back!
We had a great time at a really lovely campsite! Julia and Bene are friendly and approachable people who we would set up camp with again at any time. The only small drawback is that you can always hear the noise of the highway and the country road is of course not noiseless. But looking at the map, that should be clear to everyone anyway, and it was to us. And what prevails anyway is the beautiful babbling brook, the rustling of the trees and the twittering of the birds :) So thank you very much for the great time and all the wood :)
This was our second time there and again for a week. It is simply beautiful and you just feel welcome. Thank you for the lovely stay with you and we would love to come back :)
Super beautifully situated campsite, where we had plenty of space with 8 adults and 3 children. The hosts were super friendly, there was a solution for everything and the direct connection to the stream was also wonderful for all of us. We would not only recommend them, but also gladly come back ourselves.
We really have nothing but praise for Julia & Benedikt's Hinterland location: both gave our small tour group (consisting of 2 cars and 4 people) a really warm welcome. There are several accommodation options on site (in a meadow above, directly by the stream, etc.), all of which were shown to us. We were given a whole wheelbarrow full of firewood for an extra €10 - what a service! The stream is beautiful. Unfortunately, the idyll is somewhat disturbed by the noise of the highway and the directly adjacent road. Unfortunately, I didn't receive a reply to my message. So we drove there on the off-chance, but then everything worked out.

Beautiful, "wild" place on a stream on the outskirts of the village - if you prefer to camp on a well-kept lawn, this is definitely the wrong place - I liked it. Very nice, uncomplicated contact with Julia!
Very nice place, very nice hosts, our place was particularly beautiful with the stream and directly between the trees. We would love to come back, as long as we are welcome. :)
The hosts are nice and accommodating. 2 days on the campsite right next to the stream with the possibility of a nice campfire were really good. - We would love to come again!
Super nice hosts, place is also very nice. The proximity to the road and the background noise of the highway can be a little annoying.
Beautiful place by the stream. There are nice hiking trails in the area. The site is visible from the little-used road, but otherwise very quiet.

We were there for one night. We received a very warm welcome and were shown the whole area. The stream invites you to cool off, and not only Happy 🐕 liked it. Another great plus point is the opportunity to make a fire here. We had our fire bowl with us and were able to help ourselves to firewood directly at the pitch. The country road passes relatively close to the meadow, but as there is hardly any traffic on it and the speed limit here is 50, it is hardly noticeable. The loudest thing was a tractor, which is part of rural camping! We will definitely be back.
Everything was just wonderful! Julia and her husband were very nice, they have water, electricity and firewood which they shared with us. The tent site is near a beautiful mountain spring, which came in handy in the hot weather. It was possible to walk safely to the tent even after the rains, which made our lives easier. Thank you for your hospitality and good luck with the nettles!
There are 2 campsites right by the stream, which are beautiful. Both are very private. Mine was in the shade in the morning and evening, which was perfect in the hot weather. Julia and her husband are extremely accommodating and of course nice. You get electricity and water when you need it, as well as some firewood. There is also an outhouse at the start. I enjoyed my days there!
Unfortunately the pictures look nicer than it is. It is also not mentioned that 10m next to the place is the highway. I think it's far too expensive for 24€! Julia is very nice and immediately asked if we needed water or electricity and the stream is just a stream. We will not come back again

The place is beautifully situated in the middle of nature🌾🌳 We received a very friendly welcome😊 From there we went on beautiful hikes through the woods, e.g. to the village of Selters🍨
Super nice, helpful hosts. However, the site is right next to a road. Nevertheless, the little river lapped nicely as we slept ☺️
