Stars: 5 / 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolute natural paradise! Pure tranquility, idyll, and the sound of a babbling brook We had a completely perfect and absolutely wonderful stay with Julia and Benedikt! If you’re looking for a real getaway in the countryside, this is the perfect place. The property is an absolute dream and incredibly idyllic. The two of them are currently renovating their home with a lot of passion, which gives the whole place a really warm, inviting charm—and it didn’t bother us at all. The absolute highlight is the huge, beautiful garden with a little stream running through it. Along the banks, the couple has created several hidden campsites. The campsites are spaced far enough apart and separated by trees that you have fantastic privacy and are completely on your own. The lovely sound of the water drowns out everything else—you don’t notice the other campers at all. The trees provide wonderful shade, and the pleasantly cool stream is perfect for dipping your feet and splashing around—the perfect way to cool off on a warm summer day! Since Julia and Benedikt are just starting to build their paradise here, everything still has a wonderfully unspoiled, adventurous feel. Because we’re so excited about the site’s potential, we really only have three small, well-meaning tips for the ongoing project: For privacy: The outhouse is currently still located behind the main house. If it could eventually be moved to a shady, slightly more secluded spot in the garden, it would be just a bit more comfortable to use. For the path: The walk to the great campsites is still a bit of an adventure. The first wooden planks are already in place (one is sagging a bit right now)—if the path were reinforced a little more for the long term, it would be even easier to walk on. For legroom: Nature is still allowed to grow wild here, which looks beautiful! We did end up with a few stings from stinging nettles, though. If you give the main paths to the campsites a quick trim with a brush cutter every now and then, you’ll make it to your tent without any “souvenirs.” We’re absolutely thrilled with this magical place and the couple’s hospitality. You can really tell how much potential this little oasis has. We’d definitely love to come back and can wholeheartedly recommend the camp to any nature lover! Thanks for the great weekend!
The meadow is idyllically situated by the stream, just as described, and is the perfect base for exploring the Westerwald (or simply dipping your feet in the stream or the nearby swimming lake). And the friendly hostess makes you feel right at home. The only downside worth mentioning for the sake of completeness: the road leading into the village runs behind the meadow. So you hear cars from time to time (including at night). But if that doesn’t bother you, this is a great place to stay.
We had a really wonderful and relaxing time with Julia and her family 😊 The place was quiet, surrounded by nature, and just perfect for unwinding. What really stuck with us was their warmth and helpfulness. After my drone unfortunately crashed into the stream 🙈, Julia and her husband really tried everything to help us and even looked for the right tools. That was absolutely not something we could have expected. Thank you ☺️ You can just tell that the hosts here are people with a lot of heart 🤍 We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.
We were there last Saturday and Sunday, and it was absolutely wonderful! Benedikt gave us such a warm welcome, and we had a great chat☺️ It’s a lovely place with truly beautiful surroundings. It’s definitely worth a visit! We’ll definitely be back!
Everything was great! We stayed here for a few days over New Year's Eve (with dog) and felt very comfortable. Gladly again at any time :)
We had a great stay! Fantastic campsite in a virtually secluded location. The stream is super beautiful, really a little paradise - we really enjoyed it! :) The owners were also super nice & quick, helpful communication in advance, everything was perfect!

We had a fantastic time on this pitch! Julia and Bene are very nice hosts. The quiet location was perfect for us and our two dogs. The stream was a real highlight for our four-legged friends, who were able to cool off wonderfully there. There were also great opportunities for long walks in the forest. We would love to come back!
We had a great time at a really lovely campsite! Julia and Bene are friendly and approachable people who we would set up camp with again at any time. The only small drawback is that you can always hear the noise of the highway and the country road is of course not noiseless. But looking at the map, that should be clear to everyone anyway, and it was to us. And what prevails anyway is the beautiful babbling brook, the rustling of the trees and the twittering of the birds :) So thank you very much for the great time and all the wood :)

Super beautifully situated campsite, where we had plenty of space with 8 adults and 3 children. The hosts were super friendly, there was a solution for everything and the direct connection to the stream was also wonderful for all of us. We would not only recommend them, but also gladly come back ourselves.
We really have nothing but praise for Julia & Benedikt's Hinterland location: both gave our small tour group (consisting of 2 cars and 4 people) a really warm welcome. There are several accommodation options on site (in a meadow above, directly by the stream, etc.), all of which were shown to us. We were given a whole wheelbarrow full of firewood for an extra €10 - what a service! The stream is beautiful. Unfortunately, the idyll is somewhat disturbed by the noise of the highway and the directly adjacent road. Unfortunately, I didn't receive a reply to my message. So we drove there on the off-chance, but then everything worked out.

Beautiful, "wild" place on a stream on the outskirts of the village - if you prefer to camp on a well-kept lawn, this is definitely the wrong place - I liked it. Very nice, uncomplicated contact with Julia!

The hosts are nice and accommodating. 2 days on the campsite right next to the stream with the possibility of a nice campfire were really good. - We would love to come again!

Beautiful place by the stream. There are nice hiking trails in the area. The site is visible from the little-used road, but otherwise very quiet.

We were there for one night. We received a very warm welcome and were shown the whole area. The stream invites you to cool off, and not only Happy 🐕 liked it. Another great plus point is the opportunity to make a fire here. We had our fire bowl with us and were able to help ourselves to firewood directly at the pitch. The country road passes relatively close to the meadow, but as there is hardly any traffic on it and the speed limit here is 50, it is hardly noticeable. The loudest thing was a tractor, which is part of rural camping! We will definitely be back.
Everything was just wonderful! Julia and her husband were very nice, they have water, electricity and firewood which they shared with us. The tent site is near a beautiful mountain spring, which came in handy in the hot weather. It was possible to walk safely to the tent even after the rains, which made our lives easier. Thank you for your hospitality and good luck with the nettles!
There are 2 campsites right by the stream, which are beautiful. Both are very private. Mine was in the shade in the morning and evening, which was perfect in the hot weather. Julia and her husband are extremely accommodating and of course nice. You get electricity and water when you need it, as well as some firewood. There is also an outhouse at the start. I enjoyed my days there!
Unfortunately the pictures look nicer than it is. It is also not mentioned that 10m next to the place is the highway. I think it's far too expensive for 24€! Julia is very nice and immediately asked if we needed water or electricity and the stream is just a stream. We will not come back again

The place is beautifully situated in the middle of nature🌾🌳 We received a very friendly welcome😊 From there we went on beautiful hikes through the woods, e.g. to the village of Selters🍨
