We needed some peace and quiet, and we found it. Thanks to a wonderful host who even went out of his way to accommodate our special requests, we were able to truly unwind. In Brüggen, around the castle itself, there was a market this weekend that we visited, and we enjoyed some delicious refreshments at the old mill. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you so much, Björn, for providing such a lovely spot for us RV travelers. Best regards from Hamm from Bert and Marianne

We really enjoyed our stay there. We were given a very warm welcome, and communication was friendly and prompt. I highly recommend cycling through the nature reserve to Beesel. There’s a great bistro right in the center of town.
The host was very friendly. Other than that, it was quiet, just as we wanted.

We stayed with our camper van and caravan for 2 nights on the beautifully situated huge meadow surrounded by palm trees - yes really: dozens of palm trees! The ground is quite firm, despite a long period of rain. We received a very friendly welcome and instructions. We slept and had breakfast for so long that we didn't get to see the palm tree sale. Brüggen, a beautiful town, is about 4km away. Everything was great, we will be back.
We really enjoyed our stay. It was exactly what we were looking for. It was quiet and relaxed.
Beautiful place with Mediterranean flair - exactly as described. 🌴 Communication with Björn was uncomplicated and very friendly. 🌿 Only comment: some privacy on the lawn would make the experience even more perfect. Overall, however, we felt very comfortable and are happy to recommend the spot to others.
Wonderful host who takes the time to check in on his guests and find out how they are doing. Always happy to return!

The open space is very large and there are direct paths for cycling or running. The reception was very nice and we felt comfortable. Unfortunately, we still had to cut our visit short as there was a strong wind and we were really shaken up. We will certainly try again when the weather is calm :-)
Super nice location . Sunset with palm trees. Lots of space . Nearby a farm store where there is also super delicious ice cream . Good starting point for trips to the Netherlands. Björn is a very nice host! We will be back soon, we liked it very much.

A wonderful, large meadow near Brüggen. I had a great time here. It's easy to get to Brüggen by bike or bus. ...I'd love to come back.
I stayed here for one night, Björn the host greeted me warmly and gave me a few tips for exploring the beautiful surroundings. The place is clean and quiet. I would be happy to come back again. MfG Nils
We can recommend the campsite, the surrounding area and of course Björn without reservation. If you are looking for friendly people, lots of greenery and plenty of southern flair, you will find it all when you stay at Palmenallee. We had the opportunity to attend an animal blessing on the adjoining meadow and found this very beautiful (we were also informed in advance).

Björn gave us a very friendly welcome. The pitch is very nice, with palm trees and other Mediterranean plants. We chose a nice spot and were given lots of tips for cycling tours in the area. We had a good and quiet stay.
Because it was so nice on the way there to Holland, I stopped off at Björn's again on the way back. This time for the whole weekend and combined it with a visit to the old town of Brüggen. It was again super nice and relaxed next to the palm trees.

Everything went really well! Very nice host, we even received a beautiful flower as a welcome gift, which is now traveling with us. For the children it was a paradise with lots of space. We will be back!
