Hardy
Our winery boasts over 100 years of family tradition, having been founded as early as 1888. The company’s founder, Peter Weis, was a cooper at the time; this tradition continued for many years but today holds only niche significance, for example in the aging of wines in barriques. The current owner, Hardy Weis, is the fourth generation to run the business; he is a trained winemaker, meaning he specializes in winemaking in the cellar. The vineyard currently covers approximately 6 hectares, 60% of which is planted with white wine grapes and 40% with red wine grapes.

Completely out of the blue, we managed to snag a spot at Hardy’s under his fantastic walnut tree at the last minute over Pentecost. Everything was perfect, and we highly recommend the wine tasting as well. We’d love to come back.
We had a lovely grassy spot for our trailer right next to the Weis Winery. Water and electricity are available. The winemaker, Hardy, is very friendly and helpful. Hardy offers a wide selection of delicious wines (be sure to do a wine tasting!), which offer exceptional value for money. Right from the campsite, you can hike up into the vineyards (Vital-Tour) and cool off at the local outdoor pool on the way back. There’s a Netto (with a bakery) about 200 meters from the campsite. This certainly won’t be our last visit to Hardy’s!
I was just passing through. You really feel welcome here, and Hardy is a great host. He’s easygoing and goes out of his way to help. Everything was top-notch! The wine tasting was also very welcoming, and the wines were fantastic! I’m going to order some to take home… I didn’t have enough room in the car! Thanks, Hardy!
We were there for the second time and were again very impressed by the Weis family and their wines. We felt completely at ease and the pitch on the meadow is very nice. Any time again.

Very nice and courteous host. There is delicious wine on site that you can buy directly. A wine tasting is worthwhile! Quiet pitch with electricity. WC and shower in the courtyard were very clean. Beautiful surroundings and not overcrowded.
