We drove on. It looked different in the pictures. The strip of ground where we could park was quite narrow. The grounds were very overgrown. Too bad. The buildings and the quaint garden have so much potential. The staff were also very friendly.
Everything went well, met my expectations.
Host was very quick to accept our request, and very friendly/helpful. We had a small car and 2 small tents, which was possible, but not ideal (no toilets and uneven ground).

A beautiful and quiet place surrounded by greenery. A good base for exploring the area. We would come back again.
I spent three nights here and felt very comfortable. The hosts are very nice and helpful. I was able to get electricity and water. The pitches are on a gravel driveway. There is a cozy Have you got to poop again green area with a table and benches. One small drawback is the location directly on the road, but in a thirty zone. Thank you very much, Bernd

Very attentive host. Have stood on a gravel road on the property under a small apple tree. Good for vans that are self-sufficient. Good starting point for trips to the Detmold area.
A very nice host, you could move freely but you should have basic equipment with you (water, toilet). If it arises we will come again !!!

Everything is great and uncomplicated.
Simple but good. Host was not there, but his sister. Nice chat and super friendly. Personal opinion what could be interesting for people with children or dog: You have to constantly watch out because the pitch is directly on a road and not fenced. Since is indeed 30 but it keeps to the annoyance of all almost no one.

Hello Bernd😀, your pitch was perfect for one night. The shopping facilities were within easy walking distance. The Greek nearby is also worthwhile so everything was top.

We were there for the cherry blossom, we liked it. Road behind us has hardly any traffic at night.

We were over the Easter holidays at Bernd. In advance, we have discussed the arrival / departure, since Bernd was not himself on site in the time. Marietta has welcomed us but quite warmly with the two dogs. We stood the two nights alone in front of the garage. The parking lot is located directly on the street, but since it was a holiday, it was relatively quiet. On the way there we looked at the Hermann monument and the next day the Externsteine, an absolute highlight! The contact with Bernd was great and we would come again any time.

Very nice place in front of the old carpenter's workshop, a bit outside with quite a lot of nature around. The road is only a few meters away, but when we were there, the road was closed and it was totally quiet. Quaint atmosphere and very cozy. The city center is very easy to reach by bike and really worth seeing. A real recommendation!
We had a nice time, and two quiet nights. We will be happy to come again.

A very friendly and pleasant host. The place is located in a beautiful landscape with many excursion possibilities. The small road next to it was unfortunately quite busy. Highly recommended for a shorter stay.

Everything was totally uncomplicated. All super nice. Good starting point to explore the sights of the area. But you should be mobile in any case. To sit comfortably at the car not the right thing.

We stood at a small blossoming apple tree. The road is not far away , but at night quiet .The settlement was quite uncomplicated and super spontaneous.The contact was very nice. We come back with pleasure.

A beautiful little place near Detmold. Perfect to explore the city and the area. You are super fast in the Teutoburg Forest, at the Externsteine and in the beautiful countryside around. The host is maximum relaxed and we can highly recommend him and the place! Thank you for the beautiful pitch :)
