The farmstead had stood empty for 20 years, and nature has made itself at home here. Our compromise is that we’ve “cleared out” a few spots for ourselves; we’re leaving the rest as it is because this has become a home for many living creatures. It’s a delicate ecosystem that we don’t want to disturb any more than necessary. Frank’s passion is woodworking—he built the cabins, and I helped out :-)); mine is the animals.

We spent a quiet afternoon and a peaceful night at Anja and Frank’s place and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. Thank you so much for letting us stay with you. Our tip: Be sure to bring mosquito repellent. Best regards, Christiane and Frank
A great, natural campsite with a friendly host and wildlife right outside the door!
Thank you so much, Anke, for this wonderful getaway! My dog and I felt right at home with you. It’s pure nature, and if you’ve forgotten anything, you can just ask this warm and welcoming host—Anke will make it happen. Keep up the great work with this beautiful spot on your property. I’d love to come back—thank you so much!
The small clearing beneath the tall oak trees is a very peaceful spot. Anke welcomed us personally and gave us a warm welcome. Great, spacious outdoor shower! We felt right at home.
The three of us (two adults, one child) had a very relaxing short getaway at Ambos. Anke and Frank are always available to answer questions, but at the same time maintain a comfortable distance. Our daughter was able to ride a horse under Anke’s guidance. We were also able to borrow bicycles. The atmosphere is very nice overall, though the trailers on the property took some getting used to at first. The outdoor shower is great, and the Ambos is fantastic too, though it does come at a price. We returned home feeling very refreshed.
Everything as described, who looks at the pictures in peace, knows what he gets. Anke is extremely relaxed and makes arriving and grounding yourself very easy!
It's a beautiful place with great facilities and a warm hostess!
It was a great overnight stay with Anke. The peace and quiet on the farm and the place under the old oaks right next to the cornfield with the super sunset was a dream. The shower and the toilet house are built with attention to detail...We were warmly welcomed and can highly recommend this little corner of the world
We had a relaxing and restful time in the "concert hall". If you like nature, you can feel at home here. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive hosts. Sandra and Sascha
All is still right with the world here. We were greeted very nicely by the dogs and were able to listen to the rare kibitz. The campsite is beautifully situated and the sanitary facilities are clean. The outdoor shower had hot running water. PS: Thanks for the eggs, the tip with the 3.5 minutes was very good. The eggs were perfectly cooked (:
Anke is a very nice hostess, we felt very comfortable on her small farm! The hut is very cozy and even in autumn it is pleasantly warm to sleep in.
We had a very relaxing and peaceful time with Anke and her brother, despite the cold. Very attentive and friendly hosts, absolute recommendation!
Anke's description of her pitch is 100% accurate... actually, it's a bit of an understatement. Anyone who chooses this pitch will be greeted by woodpeckers and hares on a meadow near the farm, which is being restored step by step with a lot of passion. You stand between large, old oak trees, shade included. I could watch the sunset from my roof tent and it was wonderfully quiet at night. Anke and her brother are home to dogs, chickens and geese and, as a riding therapist, Anke's horses are of course a must. There are also two unusual TinyHouses on the pitch, which Frank designed and built as a carpenter. These can also be rented. An outdoor shower, a compost toilet and running water complete the pitch. Cell phone reception is a little poor... but so what? Who wants to be constantly on their cell phone in the middle of nature? My conclusion: If you like the hinterland, you'll love this pitch with its friendly hosts. I'll definitely be back! 💚
The Tiny House at Anke's is just wonderful! Everything is practical and lovingly furnished. In addition, Anke is an attentive, friendly hostess who has also provided additional things at any time when they were needed. So I could, for example, the mosquitoes even better brave, or zb spontaneously a lilac berry - liqueur boil. Here I make gladly again vacation!
