A large meadow with plenty of space, though it’s quite exposed to the wind. The restroom facilities are rather basic. Note: There are relatively high additional costs for electricity and toilet use!

A beautiful, quiet meadow on the outskirts of town with friendly hosts. Great walks are possible from there.
We spent three wonderfully peaceful nights at the beginning of March with our caravan on the beautiful large meadow right next to Hartmut's farm and a paddock. Everything was as described. Communication with the host was easy and relaxed. Electricity (€5 per day) and toilet use (€3 per day) were available if desired. The parking space, located on a high plateau, offers a superb panoramic view of the Hessian mountains. We were able to use a large fire pit and enjoy the vast starry sky. Firewood was provided free of charge. Hartmut also grilled us some homemade bratwurst in the evening, which was very good. You can start hiking right from the site and walk across the wide fields. A visit to the nearby medieval town of Alsfeld is highly recommended. There is also a supply and disposal station for campers there. Hartmut is a friendly host. We give the site 5 stars. Great pitch on a green meadow with very nice hosts
A large, beautiful, quiet meadow with a wide view of the countryside and the church tower, a perfect place to relax after a day on the highway, very nice hosts.
We had a lovely overnight stay here: nice hosts, a good fire pit, a toilet for a small fee and an idyllic view from the camper :)

Birgit gave us a warm welcome in the afternoon. We had a lovely shady pitch. When we had settled in and Hartmut came in from the field, we sat together around the large fire bowl and had a barbecue. Birgit and Hartmut proved to be excellent hosts with a great sense of humor, making it a successful evening. As we are self-sufficient, we didn't need a toilet or electricity. However, both are provided. Our hosts were always available. There was nothing missing. You could help yourself from a large drinks fridge and the bill was settled on a trust basis. All in all, a perfect place for us that we will definitely visit again.
Everything fitted perfectly and was as described. If you need something tasty for a barbecue or breakfast eggs, Hartmut has everything fresh from the farm. The location is very quiet and the view really beautiful. Toilet was also o.k. Gladly again!
