A beautiful, peaceful spot on a horse farm. It’s right next to a wooded area with hiking trails and a small stream. It’s not a regular campground, but rather a spot near the pastures where horses usually graze. Expect an off-grid spot where peace and quiet are the norm.
Unfortunately, we didn't get to meet Sven. The place is very nice, quiet, sitting in front of the car in the evening, listening to the sounds of the nearby forest and waiting for the night to fall. Just our thing. Definitely a place I'll remember when I'm drawn back to the area I used to know.
A great spot to simply switch off! Very close to nature and quiet. Within five minutes you are already on the first hiking trails - absolutely recommendable! Sven and his wife are extremely friendly people and have their hearts in the right place. We will definitely be back!
It was amazing to be there. Very close to a forest, Sven and his wife are super friendly and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. We are very glad to have found this place! Recommended!
Very nice hosts. Quiet location and the children could watch some wild animals. Horses were also in the pasture. Wonderful ambience.
It was a wonderful pitch in the middle of nature. As horse and dog lovers, we felt very comfortable. Sven was also a very friendly and helpful host. We can recommend the site with a clear conscience.
That's exactly what I'm looking for if I want it to be self-sufficient! Our neighbors wonderful horses absolute peace and no unnecessary light at night! Cycling and hiking top. Sven is uncomplicated and super nice! Thank you Sven for making something like this available! LG Siggi&Mario

A beautiful place in undisturbed nature. We would love to come back.
On the way back, we spent a night at Sven's horse farm. Pure peace and nature, simply wonderful after a stay on a rather noisy campsite. We received a very friendly welcome from the farm dog "Chapeau" and were able to make ourselves comfortable on the freshly mown meadow. We explored the beautiful area by bike and went for a walk in the nearby forest. In short, great hosts and great surroundings. Thank you for your hospitality

This was our 2nd time here and we absolutely loved it again. Peace, solitude, campfire, great views and a very friendly host! You should have wedges with you. We will definitely be back!

Great quiet pitch.
The farm was as described- peaceful and calm. Sven was helpful and welcoming- a super host. A great spot to see and hear wildlife- we saw Reh and Fuchs and we heard the Uhu in the trees beside our tent after dark- amazing! Would love to stay here again when visiting the Eifel hills and forests. Heimbach was lovely and not far away, and has Waschbären…we will be back next year i hope.
On the road with roof tent: pitch as described, right next to paddock, easily accessible via paved road, slightly sloping meadow approx. 100m from the main building with a view of meadows and woods. Uncomplicated and friendly contact with Sven.

Great place! We had horses visiting regularly, the surrounding area is great for hiking and it's quiet too. Nice uncomplicated contact with the hosts. We would love to come back!

Super nice hosts Perfect peace and quiet, at night you hear nothing except now and then owls. In the morning we could watch deer. We will definitely spend a few relaxing days there again.

The pitch was quiet and the host was very friendly. We were looking for a pitch with little to no light pollution. Here it was really very dark at night. Perfect to watch stars. Gladly again.
