We (my wife and my youngest son) live and work in the 300-year-old Rennmühle, in the middle of a natural paradise. I love both nature and technology, especially when innovative ideas can be realized in harmony. That's why I'm also an inventor and engineer and enjoy working with machines, baking bread, keeping chickens, making ice cream, building modular tiny houses and much more...

Really great host. Very friendly and engaging contact. Beautiful place in the countryside. We were only guests for one night, but we felt very comfortable. Thank you very much 🙏
Communication was very good and we were also greeted with a delicious ice cream. The property is beautiful, quiet and natural and is right next to the stream where you can go in and cool off. It was also perfect for the children who had a great time with the mud kitchen and the large meadow. However, as is the case with water properties, parents whose children are very young or for whom water is too much of a temptation should be aware that they must not let them out of their sight alone. The stream has a certain current, the bank is quite steep for smaller children, so they can slip and fall in, and the water varies in depth from ankle-deep to suddenly over a meter. The path to the toilet also leads past water. Uli was very nice and always there when we needed him. He was so helpful in pulling us up the meadow in his car after a rain shower. Everything was perfect for us and we would love to come back.

Uli is very friendly and helpful. The place is a dream for nature lovers, cackling flock of chickens included. Very quiet and perfect for relaxing. We would love to go there again.

We had a wonderful last day of our vacation with Uli. He is a really great, friendly host who welcomed us straight away with delicious Eus! We were able to make a campfire and had the meadow to ourselves. The children had fun in the mud kitchen and making a fire. But: the access to the meadow runs over a narrow bridge, the meadow is currently very wet and the descent was only possible with combined forces (pushing, towing, winch). Uli was happy to help and the installed winch is already helping a lot. One family was there with a small caravan, which was just about manageable (but by no means easy). The communication with Uli was great, thank you very much for an overall wonderful end to the vacation.
Nice and helpful host. Beautiful grounds with chickens on the pitch. The shallow stream is a lovely adventure playground for the children. Very quiet and idyllic location.

Very helpful (ride to the bike store)and really hospitable host. There was homemade ice cream, bread, rolls and dried fruit. Free in addition free-range chickens and a very original meadow place. Thank you very much 😘
Unfortunately, we could not use the place at all because something had come in between us, so the place itself I can not evaluate. Uli had shown us but still possibilities and was super friendly and helpful. Should be in the area again, we will certainly make a second attempt.
The place has everything you need, quaint and great for kids. The homemade ice cream was super tasty and the kids loved it. The Uli is a great guy fully relaxed and very helpful, we want to come back in any case can only recommend it......was everything as described.....
Uli is a warm host who takes care of everything touchingly with his family. We felt very comfortable, the children had great fun on the property and are now little chicken experts. And we have very much enjoyed Uli's generous offer from vegetable garden and from delicious homemade bread, rolls and ice cream.
Wonderful host and place. Were allowed to pitch our tent among the beautiful fruit trees. With the children I have explored the direct natural surroundings - forest and river - and in the evening sat by the fire bowl. Thank you Uli for your friendly and accommodating nature!
The mill is idyllically surrounded by wild nature - a true oasis with vegetable garden and chickens! Our children had extensively explored the stream on the premises and played in it. But what makes the place so special are the hosts, who were totally attentive to our well-being, whether with information about the area, wood for a campfire or delicious homemade rolls and ice cream (which our son called the "best ice cream ever") - absolutely recommended!

From Uli you get homemade very tasty ice cream😃👍Morgens he spoiled us already with homemade fresh rolls which are absolutely great. No need to worry about the arrival and departure from the place. With us it has been very wet, but Uli has pulled up our t3 very loose💪. In general, Uli and his family is the perfect host. Many thanks
Uli and his wife are very nice and super hosts. The homemade rolls and ice cream were super tasty. The place is surrounded by nature, very quiet and the trusting chickens complete the idyllic and relaxing experience. We were very satisfied and want to come again.
Our stay with Uli was terrific!!! The campers are on his meadow below his house, enclosed by three rivers, amidst fruit trees, vegetable raised beds and chicken coops! Super idyllic! And Uli is a wonderful host! He is very concerned about our well-being and spoiled us with homemade: Ice+Waffle, whole wheat rolls and whole wheat bread! Soo delicious! Thank you very much Uli! Also for your energy at the departure! 😉 We will be happy to come again!
Very nice host, friendly welcome with homemade ice cream and rolls from own production. Pitch very close to nature with stream crossing. Quiet location. The outdoor shower in the green was particularly refreshing in the heat.
It was great! Very good communication, warm welcome. You stand, surrounded by water, on a beautiful orchard with friendly chickens. There are table and chairs and also a solar shower are right there. Electricity we have not needed, but has been offered to us. We have always been asked about our wishes and could also enjoy the homemade ice cream with the super delicious homemade waffle cones. For breakfast we had very tasty rolls made from home-ground grains and a loaf of bread to take away! Wow! Despite 2 days of rain we had a wonderful relaxing time. Quiet and undisturbed. We felt comfortable all around! The way uphill out of the wet meadow over the bridge from the Mühlbach needed two attempts, but Uli said he will do something right away. :-) This place is only since July at Hinterland and we were with the first guests. Uli, the host and his wife are very nice, close to nature and relaxed. We had a great time and he told us interesting things about his life and gave us tips about the area. Other than that, we were left completely alone. Uli is a doer with great ideas, you can tell and we are already curious what will be different next time, because come again, we will definitely! This is one of the places where you would prefer, you would only know them yourself ...
A naturally left and quiet piece of earth - very relaxing. The host is friendly and fulfills your every wish. Homemade ice cream, rolls and crusty fresh bread rounded off our happiness on the spot. Thank you very much for the great experience.
A wonderful spot is Uli's property! We have felt very comfortable! There was delicious homemade ice cream to welcome us, trusting chickens and a lot of peace! After one night we did not want to leave again...
Beautiful, natural place, partly pleasantly overgrown, for people who like it close to nature. About 50 meters behind the site are beautiful hiking trails through forests, meadows and along the stream. Canoeing across the mill channel turned out to be a bit difficult due to the overgrowth. If you launch the canoe at another spot, you can certainly make faster progress. The host was extremely accommodating and helpful beyond measure. His homemade ice cream is the best we have ever had. Access with a large motorhome (6.5m) is possible, but requires skillful instruction and maneuvering. We were able to order fresh homemade rolls the day before (very tasty). We felt very well received and would come back anytime.
Very hospitable and uncomplicated hosts. We were able to book spontaneously and felt welcome on spacious lawn surrounded by water. A toilet and outdoor shower out of sight were at our disposal. In the morning there were fresh rolls and because of the homemade ice cream we have to come back again.
Nice contact, nice hosts and delicious chocolate ice cream. The place is in the making and still needs some love. There is a toilet that is great.
Wake up with the chickens! A very nice place in the green with outdoor shower and toilet. We felt very welcome and adopted by the chickens. We will be happy to come back.
Uli was a communicative, very attentive and helpful host, who as a bonus fed us with homemade bread and delicious ice cream. The place is as described and very natural. We had four beautiful days and can highly recommend this place.
Communication was fast and very personal written. The place is as described and well imaginable from the selected photos. But it is more than a pitch: it is like visiting friends! I was taken care of, there were tips, help and always asking if I needed anything. Homemade wholemeal bread, own creations of ice cream were brought to me, and there was a farewell dinner with the family on the wonderful terrace overlooking the large property with the pretty free-range chickens. Because of the feathered fowl, of course, I had to watch my setter dog, but both dogs were welcome anyway! The property with the mill is really something special! I also saw a big beaver there. The area is great for hiking and biking. Definitely get off the A6 and make a stop at Uli and Phol!!!
We were very warmly welcomed by Uli and Japhool, have immediately felt at home at the old mill. We have not dared with the 6.5m motorhome over the bridge on the meadow, Uli is building the access road just better. But we are up at the mill stream prima stood, the quiet splashing of the mill stream has given us a wonderful deep sleep. Uli is a super host, he brought us fresh homemade rolls in the morning and we were allowed to try homemade ice cream with eggs from the farm. We will be happy to come again.

We are totally thrilled with the place Beil Uli. You stand in nature and have total peace. Our children had a lot to look at. For breakfast there were home-baked rolls....die were super tasty. We ate breakfast in front of our caravan, our children had fun with the chickens, which always looked over. We come in any case wiede past.
