We live in Obermarxgrün in the beautiful Vogtland region on a former farm. We truly love country life with its tranquility, lush nature, and proximity to swimming spots. In 2023, we came up with the idea of making our property available to others for a getaway. We quickly came up with a name. “A Country Getaway Under the Apple Tree”—inspired by our large, old apple tree, which is the centerpiece of our garden and has delighted many palates with its delicious apples...

Lovely place to stay for a few nights. Close to Obermarxgrün and Plauen. Both places are worth a visit. Which can be easily done with this place as your Basecamp

Very friendly and easygoing hosts. They’re happy to chat but aren’t pushy at all! The small, rustic outhouse is clean and perfectly adequate. The campsite was mowed and clean. You can faintly hear the highway in the distance, but otherwise the site is quiet. The booking process went smoothly, and they responded quickly.
We stopped for a night in Silke's garden on our way to Saxon Switzerland. The conditions were ideal for our caravan. There is a power connection and, for those with a long hose, a permanent water connection. The toilet block is also practical. Silke and her husband are lovely, so this will certainly not be our only stay.

Idyllically situated, small pitch - completely quiet. There is no mass tourism here, just a completely relaxed time. Not for people who need consumption and entertainment. But if you want an individual and relaxed stay, this is the place for you. The landlady Silke is absolutely friendly and helpful.
It was a wonderful first experience using this platform. We got exactly what we had hoped for beforehand. A super quiet, cozy and private pitch. Sunrise in the morning and in the evening we were able to enjoy our evening meal at sunset. The perfect place to switch off. Our almost two-year-old daughter also loved it. She had everything she needed to be happy 🙃 Always happy to return.

Rarely met such an authentic, loving, friendly, easy-going, helpful, uncomplicated hostess! Absolutely reliable! Pretty, idyllic property with: many chickens, 2 trampolines, great campfire pit, a slide and a small shed with new toilet and sink! Absolutely sufficient in summer when you can go swimming in surrounding lakes/reservoirs or just stay for the weekend! Huge thanks to Silke!!!
