The seclusion of the countryside and the simplicity of the shepherd's wagon have a very special charm. On top of that, Grit is a truly wonderful hostess.
The shepherd's hut was as described and had everything we needed. The meadow was freshly mown and surrounded by trees and a hedge, so it offered nice privacy and shade to relax in. The lake is nice and close. Swimming, barbecuing and sitting by the fire bowl in the evening in the best weather made me feel very comfortable and I enjoyed a quiet, relaxing time. Grit is very helpful and made sure that everything was just right.
The communication was very good, friendly and welcoming. The shepherd's cart is as described very lovingly and practically furnished. The fenced meadow is beautifully situated on the edge of the village is quiet with sun and shade and very relaxing. Because of the fence, our dog also felt very comfortable. Grid is a friendly and attentive hostess. We would love to come back.
We really liked it at Grit's place. A beautiful, overgrown meadow close to the lake with a really quiet and beautiful bathing area. We had everything we needed and if something was missing, Grit certainly had something to hand : ) Nice evenings by the fire, barbecuing and cooking outside, great fresh air and lots of space and peace, we enjoyed it!!!
Grit is a super lovely and warm hostess. I felt very comfortable with her and will definitely come back again. The shepherd's hut is totally cozy.
The cottage was really cute and cozy, in the middle of a meadow, surrounded by beautiful nature, other vacation accommodations and you only need 5 min to the lake. We had two wonderful nights there and Grit was a wonderful hostess. Eis definitely recommends taking mosquito spray with you ;)

Grit is a very nice hostess. I had a nice quiet night with my dog and very nice walks on the two half days . We are very happy to come again! Thank you also again for the eggs, they were very tasty!
Grit is a very nice hostess. The place is super nice located and the bathing place is only a few meters away. We will come again.
Very nice and accommodating hostess. The bathing lake is a few steps away, where you can walk in for a long time and have a good refreshment. Nearby there is also a hill where you can make very good picnic and watch the sunset 😉. In addition, you can make great bike tours, such as once around the Tollensesee. We were thrilled and would come again.
Have spent a few wonderful, relaxing days with our self-sufficient VAN there. Apart from the well tolerable, "natural" voices of the animals living next door (chickens, geese, ducks dog & sheep) a wonderful, quiet, green spot. Enough space for 3 users. Short way to the beautiful Tollensesee with clear water, wonderful, unspoiled environment. Beautiful, but quite small bathing places (caution: in the self-proclaimed, "private" nudist bay of the village elders, you are not tolerated as a stranger and driven away in a very rude tone, a very questionable and unpleasant experience, because actually public ...). Grit also lends several paddle boats. Be sure to hike from the campsite to the hill grave - magnificent view. There is running cold water, electricity by arrangement (we did not need), as described no toilet is available - own camping toilet is therefore absolutely necessary. The ToiToi on the beach mentioned in some descriptions was disgusting, because overflowing, otherwise no alternatives nearby, also no disposal option for camping toilet nearby, so should also be done in advance. With the appropriate equipment so a wonderfully relaxing place, come again with pleasure, thank you!
Hello it was wonderful a very nice woman and we will definitely come back.
Although Grit had a lot to do, we were very warmly received on their beautiful clean lawn. We still got some tips for walking with the dogs and otherwise we could just let our souls dangle. We felt very comfortable with her and will definitely come again. Many thanks to you Grit
We were very warmly welcomed by Grit. The place is a very nice green meadow. Grit put us on the view from the mound and provided us with a bottle of wine to enjoy the sunset. We like to come back it was very nice.
Super hostess, nice and accommodating. The breakfast is really recommended. 3min walk to the bathing bay. Food manger for the ravenous hunger directly on the way. 3 Notes: At the location in the camper cell phone reception "E" to expect, so either go the 20m further or at the lake for LTE or use a router / directional antenna. Have put my phone on top of the roof hatch and used as a router for the tablet, also goes :) . Trestles to compensate for the slight unevenness are also recommended. Especially for the motorcyclists: to come to Neubrandenburg counterclockwise around the Tollensesee drive, otherwise you can expect a lot of cobblestones.

Small meadow not far from the beach. Grit is a very nice hostess. We enjoyed our weekend there very much and will definitely come again.

Super nice hostess, warm and generous, has prepared us a lovely and great breakfast. Everything quite uncomplicated, nice pitch with animals nearby (chickens, sheep, geese). Proximity to the lake optimal. Everything has fit all around.
We can only agree with the other guests. Grit is an extraordinarily sympathetic, open and to the guest approached hostess. Absolutely committed to making the stay on your property , as pleasant as possible. The meadow property in question is in a quiet location in close proximity to the (free) beach. Also brought water sports equipment can be let there unproblematically into the water. The access is also possible for larger motor homes, but you should use the small dirt road on the left shortly before reaching the property and not drive straight down the road. Then it works without problems. Otherwise, we had a really good time there and come back very gladly.

It was so great here ! You can walk to the lake in a few minutes and can buy snacks and drinks at a kiosk :) also we have on the site lots of birds, herons and lake / fish eagles can observe. The place itself is prepared with a lot of love, there is a fire bowl and additional 2 benches and a table, our dog was most welcome, the place is completely fenced and she could romp wonderfully. Grit is a mega hostess, we could rent a canoe from her and explore the Tollensesee so from a completely different perspective :) About the eggs from your chickens as a lovely gift we were also very happy! We come back in any case and thank you for this great stay :)
Very nice hostess. Our daughter as well as our dog were very welcome. Very hospitable and accommodating, try the delicious cake :) About the site, nice and quiet site, were there with our tents and we have lacked nothing. The lake is within walking distance. We will definitely come again :)
Our stay with Grit was dreamlike. The meadow is very large, the fire pit and picnic table are very inviting and the birdsong very soothing. Grit is the perfect hostess: warm, generous, accommodating. She prepared us 5star breakfasts, with great attention to detail. We are simply overwhelmed by this dreamlike stay and will definitely go back. The location on the lake allows for swimming as well as paddling (SUP/ canoe) and from the mound you can have a magnificent view of the lake. Just perfect!
The pitch has pleased us very well, also had nice neighbor(in) . Very nice hostess ! Excursions by bike to Neubrandenburg possible. Bathing lake just around the corner, but unfortunately not had the right bathing weather. Gladly again! Can recommend the place 100 percent .

A super nice place not far from the lake in the hinterland🤗, a very friendly hostess and beautiful weather have let us spend a dreamlike beautiful weekend in Wustrow. TO TAKE APPROACH BY PENZLIN AND SIEHDICHUM- via Alt Rehse it was a village road cobblestone ordeal.

We had a super great weekend with Grit!!! For us, our granddaughter and our two dogs really perfect. Grit is soooo hospitable and accommodating - we felt directly welcome and comfortable! We will definitely come again and recommend it without reservation!

Arriving at Grit's is like arriving at a friend's house. It doesn't get any warmer than that. A beautiful small well-kept lawn with fireplace invites you to stay here. Even the dog was welcome From here you can make beautiful tours around the lake. After a few meters I could easily launch my canoe and explore the lake from the water. Grit also has a canoe which she rents out. A tour on the water is definitely recommended. Gladly I come back and thank you for the nice stay.
Grit the hostess is a soul of a person. She gladly takes care of all questions. The pitch is a dream. Everything does not get better than this. There is no need to say more. Thank you for everything. Come again for sure!

Very great and quiet pitch. Grit is very nice and helpful. The bathing place is only 3min walk away. From the lake we could watch sea eagles and one morning even an osprey flew over the pitch. We will be happy to come back.

Our stay has pleased us very well was a super hostess we were even welcomed with a bottle of champagne and our dog got a treat when approaching you should note not to drive via Alt Rheese but via Siedichum

Dear Grit, thank you for letting us be your guests. It was two wonderful and quiet nights. Highlight was of course the trip with the kayak on the beautiful lake. Emptied and shopped should have before :-), then nothing stands in the way of a relaxing stay. Depending on where you come from, the journey is a bit bumpy, but not too long. The meadow is partly sloping, but nothing it with wedges would not compensate. So everything fine.
We had a super nice time, nice pitch and nice contact. We come again with pleasure!
What a wonderful place at Grit. A beautiful lake is within walking distance. Grit is super nice and takes care of any issues. A bit more suitable for self-sufficient campers as there is no toilet. But there is access to drinking water and electricity.
We liked the pitch very much, is wonderfully located in the greenery and very close to a beautiful swimming spot. Grit has welcomed us warmly, had great tips for the surrounding area. We were there a few days and have met so various other campers and spent a nice time there.
A caring hostess who provided us and the two fellow campers with firewood and gave us a boat to explore the lake. A quiet corner of Wustow at which only the sounds of the neighboring construction site (final finishing work) could be heard. Great hiking trails and nature trails; bike tours around the lake or to Neubrandenburg and/or Prillwitz (beautiful old hunting lodge). The village "Alt Rehse" with its dark past........ we felt very comfortable for a few days.
Dear Grit, this is how vacation and deceleration should feel. Your site is a dream, top maintained, directly on the water, beautiful starting point for hikes and bike tours. Electricity and fresh water were available and special thanks that you have equipped us with firewood and fire bowl. With the guests Reiner, Katrin, Helmut and Wiebke we had a lot of fun, great conversations and also great evenings by the fire. We wish you all the best and look forward to a next time. We were only a weekend with Grit at the Tollensesee at the "end of the world". And it has also rained a lot... And still it was great. Why? Because it is wonderfully quiet, spacious and simply idyllic. And Grit is just a nice person and host. Where to go with our dog? And also to all other questions she had the answers. We will come again. When there is sun.
we have received good directions and were able to find the very well maintained pitch. The place offers enough space for 3 vehicles, a fireplace and table with benches. We were very warmly welcomed by Grit, everything was well explained, water and electricity were also available, as well as a welcome from their own garden 🪴 Grit was a super great hostess for us. In the immediate vicinity there are 2 bathing places. In further surroundings you can find many interesting places to visit. We will definitely be happy to come back. B&G from HH

Grit is a very nice & helpful hostess. On their clean and well-kept property it has no more than 3 pitches, so everyone has enough space for themselves. To the small beach it is only 1 min walk. There is a small playground, a volleyball court and a porta-potty. Also for the kids the beach is optimal, because it is very long flat there. Shopping can be done in Penzlin, which is about 6 km away. We wanted to extend, but unfortunately Grit was totally booked. We will definitely come again! Thanks again for the wonderful time, dear Grit :-)
We felt very comfortable and welcome. The fenced meadow is huge and you can relax well. The area is very quiet and Grit a very good hostess. She gave us good tips for the area u was open to any questions. We can recommend the place with a clear conscience....s even friends. However, the refrigerator should be full and the waste water tanks empty... Unfortunately we could not stay as long as planned because we had an appointment at home. Overall a great stay

Stands with our WoMo for some summer days on the meadow of the very nice and helpful landlady. The meadow bordered on their own garden with chickens, geese and running ducks. The small but fine bathing area at the Tollensesee we used daily, is within walking distance in just a few minutes. Surroundings pure nature, who is interested in younger (Alt Rehse) or older history (Hügelgröber, Slavic settlements, Rethra?), comes here not too short. We did some cycling (attention: hilly). Thank you, Grit, we felt very comfortable!
We had three beautiful days on a small meadow ,very close to a small swimming spot. Grit is a very nice hostess, we can only recommend. Our dogs were welcome. THANKS

A great place. You can get to the lake quickly. Perfect for swimming and paddling. The kids loved it - but so did we. It is wonderfully quiet. Grit is a great hostess who makes sure everything goes well.

Actually, everyone should have their own experience, but in this case I have to share our experience. We were allowed 4 days to enjoy this wonderful place and nice people. From day 1 we felt very welcome, which increased day by day. A dream. Everything is done with so much attention to detail at Grit, so warm, great people. The surroundings are additionally beautiful, to the lake it is only about 2 min walk. Clear water, very clean beach. We will definitely come again, but then no longer make the mistake of staying only 4 days. We felt almost like at home. Thank you very much, dear Grit. Best regards also to Georg and Ori. We had a wonderful stay on the beautiful meadow. Fire bowl, wood and water were already prepared and the hostess is a very nice woman who takes good care of her little animals and guests. Very great memories were made. Anytime again :)
Beautiful place in close proximity to the lake - for us to paddle, swim and just do nothing exactly what we were looking for. Very good communication and reception by Grit - we will be happy to come back.

A great pitch almost directly on the Tollensesee. The meadow is well passable and completely fenced. In the place are very many cottages, ie in summer it is certainly more lively there. The bathing place with children's playground is not 5 minutes away. Whether by bike or on foot, there are many hiking trails along the lake. From 3 to 30 km everything is possible. From the very nice hostess you get a lot of tips on request. We will certainly book again in the off-season a short vacation with the dear Grit.
Everything was great again. Except for the weather. But certainly come back in the summer.
A small meadow for a few pitches in the middle of the hinterland. Electricity can be purchased, water is provided by hose. To the lake it is only 2 minutes walk, there is also a beach volley ball field. The lake is very beautiful with its large water lily fields, especially if you borrow the canoe from the very nice provider and go out once. Upon arrival, there was already a small welcome package and to say goodbye, the whole place including provider sat together at the incl. firewood provided fire bowl. All in all, it was a very nice "bare-bones" camping trip. If it would have fit in time we would have stayed longer or traveled again. Small tip for all who want to travel there, there is no toilet at the place, only a public porta potty at the lake / bathing beach, accordingly, it is recommended to have a camping toilet in the luggage.
Tollensesee fantastic clear water. Very nice hostess. Unfortunately had to cancel because a dog became very ill. Hostess wanted to refund the already cheap demurrage for 2 days even, which we have not accepted because we liked it so much. Will want to go there again if it is possible again....
