A very nice campsite with a view of the Salzhaff. A quiet location on the outskirts of the village. A great starting point for bike rides. A very friendly and talkative host.
Perfect for our needs
Ronny is a very nice host; the campsite is just as shown in the photos—nothing special and a bit run-down, but we already knew that from the pictures. The location and surroundings, however, are fantastic, with a view of the sea. Unfortunately, we couldn’t really relax on the lawn because Ronny’s father’s dog kept coming over to us—since he’s allowed to run around freely there—which was a problem for us because our dog doesn’t get along with other dogs. We were aware of this, which is why we booked the entire site. We tried to talk to Ronny’s father twice, but he was completely unreasonable and even laughed at us. That was very upsetting and a shame, which is why it’s important to me to mention this here, for those who have a similar problem or are even afraid of dogs.
I had a wonderful time here. It’s just a stone’s throw from the Salzhaff, with endless expanses of water and forests! Ronny is easygoing and a pleasure to deal with, and I’d love to come back here again sometime.😊 Thank you! Warm regards, Anna and the Windis🐕🐕🍃🤗

Pitch mostly nice. A house was built right next to it, so you are not "completely alone" (could perhaps be mentioned in the description/pictures). Place a little unkempt, but not dramatic. Nevertheless, it was a nice and quiet night and the meadow towards the Baltic Sea is very nice 👍🏼

Wonderful orchard meadow with a view of the sea. Peace and solitude, what more could you want. If you want a bit of hustle and bustle, drive to nearby Rerik.
Everything was great and the pitch was totally relaxed and quiet. The hosts were very nice and helpful. (Thanks for the watering can) ☺️ It should be mentioned that there is zero reception. 😂 But of course Ronny can't help it.
Ronny's pitch is quiet, big enough for two vehicles and you have a beautiful view of the Salzhaff. Unfortunately, we had to break off the weekend early for health reasons, so we couldn't take a closer look at the surrounding area, but it was perfectly ok on the pitch.
Very nice place on the edge of the village with a view of the fields and across to the lagoon. We received a very friendly welcome and got great tips, e.g. delicious fish sandwiches, nice circular walks for the dogs. Really recommended for people who just want to chill out and enjoy nature.
Super pitch, nice and quiet, even if we didn't meet Ronni, very nice contact with his father and the neighbor. Yes, rooster crowing and mosquitoes, but they live there, we were just guests 😉 Another booking is not out of the question 😁
Straightforward communication and a beautifully located site! The beach is really just around the corner and the campsite provides the necessary infrastructure.

Communication with Ronny is excellent. The pitch is spacious for two motorhomes. You can see the Baltic Sea and hear nature. We will be back!

Beautifully situated pitch in absolutely quiet, peaceful surroundings - perfect for switching off. The location is good, you have a view of the Baltic Sea and the sunset was beautiful. The contact with the host was super friendly and uncomplicated. Unfortunately there were a lot of mosquitoes so we couldn't sit outside the camper. Perhaps mowing the grass around the pitch would have helped.

The pitch was unkempt. On one side the Baltic Sea, on the other a building site. Unfortunately, you couldn't see the Baltic Sea from the pitch as it was overgrown. We couldn't find the direct path to the sea either. We then switched to the nearby campsite.

Everything was great, they stood well and quietly. Wheel chocks are helpful, it's just a meadow ;) The way to the sea was also quickly found.

In the middle of nature and surrounded by nature and the Baltic Sea. Ronny responded quickly to the request. Very relaxed and friendly contact! Tip: there is a supply and disposal facility near Boiensdorf.
We can definitely recommend the pitch. Ronny gave us a very friendly welcome on the first day and gave us tips on recommended tours in the surrounding area. The site is absolutely quiet, but you should definitely have mosquito spray with you. According to Google Maps, the Salzhaff is about 500 m away as the crow flies and can only be seen in the distance from the pitch. Cycling tours in the surrounding area (Rerik, Kühlungsborn, Poel Island and Wismar) are definitely recommended.
Great and quiet pitch in a great location. We parked together with another motorhome and had a great time on the Salzhaff... gladly again!
The location is super quiet with a view of the Baltic Sea. In our opinion, the meadow could have been mowed beforehand, as it was already very high. The entrance to the meadow could be better, just as the fence could also be better maintained and the driveway could be larger for long motorhomes to get out better. All in all we would love to come back. 👍 The cherry on the cake would have been a water source, the tap for this is already available at the house, which is currently being renovated. Very pleasant and friendly host. Beautiful secluded landscape. The location of the pitch is perfect 👌. Had too little drinking water on board but the host (Ronny) was able to help us out (thanks again) Had a small incident between our dog and the house dog (Bello), but it was just a small scuffle between hunting dogs 🫢. Otherwise everything 👍( will be back)

Ronny contacted us immediately after booking and gave us the coordinates. We found the pitch straight away. We liked it very much, places like this are exactly why we book through Hinterland. We like to be alone and quiet and are completely self-sufficient. If you need more comfort, you can go to the nearby pitch at the campsite ;-). In any case, we really enjoyed our stay. A great area.
Two pitches on a small meadow orchard. The Salzhaff can be reached on foot in a very short time. We were very quiet, it was really relaxing. We went on two bike tours from there. Once to Rerik and Kühlungsborn (highly recommended) and a tour to Wismar. There is a farm store in the village of Pepelow. Otherwise you can go for a meal, a drink etc. at the nearby campsite. We would come again.
Very nice, quiet meadow. It's not so easy to get to the water on foot, but it's a long way to walk and enjoy the tranquillity of nature - wonderful! The access road is well made and also suitable for larger motorhomes.
This place is an absolute gem. Here you have a magnificent view of the Salzhaff and a great starting point for cycling tours. Ronny had a few more tips for us :)

Pitch with a lot of charm I liked it very much, very quiet, only a few minutes' walk to the most secluded beach on the Baltic Sea. I will definitely be back.
We felt very comfortable at Ronny's orchard. We could see the Salzhaff from the pitch. We went for walks along the beach with our dogs. We experienced beautiful sunsets and admired the nature reserve on the Salzhaff. We stayed there for 2 nights and then drove on towards Brandenburg. Ronny is a very nice host. We will definitely go back again.
This place is simply a dream! Absolute peace and pure nature. Thanks to the GPS coordinates Ronny sent me, it was easy to find the beautiful orchard meadow with a wide view of the sea. I felt very much at home here. Thank you very much!
The site is idyllically situated in an orchard and the lake is really close and within walking distance. We were warmly welcomed on arrival by Ronny, who also gave us tips for activities. Electricity was ready and we followed his recommendation and walked to the sea. There you have a fantastic view and are completely alone. The sunset is really worth seeing. Both the area and the campsite are really worth a recommendation. We were so impressed that we stayed longer. Autan helps against the mosquitoes. If you are looking for an idyllic, secluded spot in a great area with a really helpful and open host, this is the place for you.
If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you! The site is nicely laid out, but not for large cars. Internet (Vodafone) only at the nearby campsite. Only had contact with Ronny shortly before departure, but he was very nice! Gladly again!
Based on the pictures, reviews and the price, I was tempted to book 2 nights and regretted it. Although the 2nd night was paid for, we did without it and moved on. The Baltic Sea is actually just as you can see in picture 2. From one of the 2 pitches. The view in picture 3 no longer exists. It's all overgrown now. The view of the Baltic Sea is now blocked by a 2.50 m high mound of nettles. At 7:30 pm the mosquito invasion came and we drove to a parking lot directly on the Baltic Sea again, as there was no worthwhile view anyway. The road is well traveled and audible until 10:30 pm. It would have been ok for 1 night as a place to sleep and €16. But even then we had much better ones.
Everything worked out wonderfully. If you have mosquito spray and sun cream in your luggage, you can have a great time here. We discovered a small piece of beach behind the field - far away from the tourists. We were able to experience a perfect sunset from there
We stood for one night and had the meadow to ourselves. A cable drum was ready. It is wonderfully quiet at night. In the morning, you are woken up in the traditional way by the rooster ;-) However, if you expect a view of the Salzhaff, you have to stretch your neck or climb onto the roof of your motorhome. Nevertheless, we liked the idyllic spot. Mosquitoes come in the evening, but that should be clear to everyone given the location and they can be easily repelled with Autan. A big thank you to Ronny for the opportunity to stay here.

We liked it so much that we stayed for a whole week. The site is beautiful in the middle of nature on an orchard. There was another motorhome there with very nice people and you could stand far enough apart so that everyone had plenty of space. You can get to the water quickly and there are shops 25 minutes away by bike or a 5-minute walk from the campsite. There is a sign that you can only enter the campsite if you have your mobile home there, but you can of course still walk there if you are a bit discreet. Ronny was very helpful and we can highly recommend it.
A beautiful spot in a quiet location with a view of the lagoon. The fruit trees provide shade when needed. We had a great time and were able to relax undisturbed.
We spent 3 very nice days with Ronny at the Obstbaumwiese. Communication was smooth and uncomplicated. Ronny was very friendly and reliable. The meadow was as described. Very idyllic and quiet, the campsite and an unknown small stretch of beach are each within 15 minutes walking distance. We recommend taking incense candles and mosquito spray with you to ward off mosquitoes.
I had the pleasure of spending 10 days on an idyllic pitch in Pepelow, near the Salzhaff, and I can only warmly recommend this place. The location is absolutely gorgeous - the pitch is in a large meadow surrounded by fruit trees, which makes for an incredibly peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It was wonderful to be woken up in the morning by birdsong and to enjoy nature to the full. The whole stay was completely uncomplicated. The site managers were friendly and helpful and we felt welcome from the start. We were completely self-sufficient and didn't need any additional sanitary facilities, which made our stay very flexible and relaxed. The proximity to the Salzhaff was another highlight. It's a wonderful place to go for a walk, relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place for you. Overall, our stay here was a perfect mix of relaxation and nature experience. We are already looking forward to our next visit and can recommend this campsite to anyone who wants to escape the stress of everyday life.
A lovely little site. You can only get to the water via the nearby campsite, there is no direct access. Only smaller vehicles up to sprinter size can park here. It had rained heavily during the night, but thanks to the four-wheel drive, I got away without any problems. If you don't need a cell phone, this is the place for you, we had zero reception. There are large meadows not far from the pitch and my dogs were able to run around a lot, but beware there is a lot of game. I only had very nice contact with Ronny by phone.

Hello we are super satisfied, we were traveling with a roof tent, Ronny was really nice, everything went smoothly. The place as described idyllic with sea view, the nearby campsite (shopping market) provides one with everything necessary. The people there are really super friendly and helpful. The nearby vending machine even provides you with fresh meat from the region. We are already looking forward to the next time.

The pitch was smaller than expected, but it was more than enough for us. The mosquitoes were a challenge but thanks to the insect repellent we bravely put up with them. It was really great with a dog, as you can go for a really nice walk from there. We really liked it because we wanted our peace and quiet and we had that. You can reach everything quickly. We can definitely recommend it.
The place was as described. We spent 3 lovely days here. It's not far to the Baltic Sea either. Unfortunately we couldn't empty anything at the nearby campsite. But not far away at the Salzhaff pitch. The contact was also very good and always quick. The only criticism was the high grass. But all in all, we can recommend the site.
Hi there, we were traveling with our roof tent and 2 dogs for the first time and this was our first pitch. We really liked it on the Salzhaff. The arrival was also very nice. We'll definitely be back again...

Ronny's meadow orchard lies really idyllic in front of the Salzhaff. Unfortunately we got stuck, but thanks to Ronny's help it was no problem to get free. Ronny is a perfect host, we will be back.
The contact with Ronny is very good. We didn't meet in person, but he was always available. You will definitely find your time-out here. You can relax here, take a walk along the dyke or simply watch the chickens pecking in the neighboring garden. The place was absolutely quiet. I will definitely make the trip again in the summer and think it will be even nicer with more greenery than it already was.
Very nice quiet place with a view of the Baltic Sea in the distance. We drove up at night in the damp fall without thinking. It was a mistake. Ronny's friendly father got us out competently.

Unfortunately, I can not rate because my dog was bitten on the course before and I had to cancel at short notice. Even in this case, there is no refund for cancellation (AGB's). You can book at short notice but not cancel in a verifiable emergency. Very sad. But we will still, although we had so much bad luck with our first booking, book again with Hinterland. Next time it will work for sure. Lg
Fast communication, uncomplicated, friendly, everything is fine.
If you want your peace and quiet, Ronny's fruit meadow is the place for you. A great base to take walks across the field to the salt lagoon or to explore the area by bike. If you like it a bit more touristy, you can reach Rerik in 30 minutes on well-maintained bike paths. The communication was great and the remote check-in uncomplicated. We are happy to come back!

The site is beautiful - a small orchard behind a ruin with a view of the lagoon about 500 m away - and the communication with Ronny is good. The nearby campsite is within walking distance in about 10 min. The services there such as toilets, washrooms, etc., however, are reserved only for users of the campsite. We got access only exceptionally and on demand. Measured against this, 22 € is too high a price for a fruit meadow.
Hosts very nice. With dog ideal, the walk to the Salzhaff totally beautiful. Our night was quiet and relaxing. You can get everything you need at the nearby campsite store. Simple and good!
Great place at the big meadow
Ronny we have seen only briefly, but perceived as very sympathetic. The place is also very nice, a bit adventurous until you find the sea but that makes the difference...

I can only agree with the previous visitors. The place seems a little different at first, but the location is great for hiking, biking and walking with the dog. Gladly we come back when it washes us in the region. Everything was great, thank you Ronni.
We had a super pitch, with a view over the Salzhaff, pure idyll - so you want it. Very nice uncomplicated contact with the landlord, it was all perfect. We say thank you thank you!!!

The first impression on arrival was not so good, because you drive past a construction site and parked RVs. The orchard but with the old pear trees is a great site in the hinterland. You have a view of the lagoon and can walk for hours with the dog across the meadows or along the beach!
Unfortunately, we did not like the place so much. We had obviously from the description other ideas. We were also worried that with further (announced) rain the meadow would be too soft for us (TI, 7m, 3.5t). So we left again. But a big plus (and many thanks!) to Ronny: He refunded us the whole amount.

Beautiful place, only greenery all around! Deer, rabbits, field and sea! What more could you want! It could not be better! If necessary, you can also use electricity, super gimmick. Ideal place to start a tour by bike and enjoy the sunset in the evening. Ronny is a great host! Communication was very cordial! Thank you that I was allowed to stand with you! Come again for sure!
