A great location. Total peace and quiet. We were lucky—the rapeseed fields all around were in bloom. The "Kacktrohn" was awesome. It took me right back 50 years to the days of youth camps. Pure camping. We really enjoyed it.
We went here to stand alone and take a shower. The shower is very nice! The camp spot has a very nice view on the meadow. On the site there is a trailer and in the building behind there is the shower and the toilet. There is no hiking spot on the site of the camp. But with the car a few minutes driving we found a nice quiet forest to walk the dog.
Gunda and Jan were incredibly helpful, and the meadow has plenty of space and a great view. It’s a beautiful spot that offers everything you could want in nature, and the hosts are incredibly kind!
A great pitch with a nice host. Highly recommended. The view is very nice, even in the morning with fog. We really liked it. We would love to come back.
Unfortunately we were only there for one night but it was very nice. Great weather, great views, nice hosts and ending the day by the fire bowl... We will be back. Olaf
Pure nature. Great distant view. Very friendly and uncomplicated host. Very generous space, dishwashing facilities, clean sanitary facilities, dog walking possible. All around to feel good. Thank you for the wonderful time.

Host is open, friendly and really pleasant. The pitch is great, the view fantastic. The sanitary facilities are clean and functional. A solid recommendation!
We stayed here for two nights and everything was wonderful. The location, the view of the Siebengebirge, the possibility to make a campfire and the use of the toilets was also comfortable. We didn't need electricity but could have used it. You can start great bike tours or hikes from here. Straightforward communication on arrival. We would love to come back!
A great spot between fields to relax! We stayed there for 2 nights and enjoyed the peace and quiet and the view. The area is great for walking and the toilet and shower are wonderful. We'd love to stay here again :)
The camper-fenced meadow offers a beautiful beautiful, unobstructed view into the distance. The one toilet and shower are located in a large room. This bathroom is simply designed. It is functional and clean. Everything was just right.

The pitch is on a meadow with a wonderful view of the Siebengebirge mountains. There is a fireplace right next to the camper where you can watch the sunset in the evening. The toilet and shower were clean and the contact with the landlord was super friendly. Definitely not the last time I stayed there.

We stayed at Gunda and Jan's meadow for a week as absolute camping newbies. The meadow is wonderfully quiet and the view is beautiful. The toilet and bathroom facilities take some getting used to but are functional and adequate. At the weekend, the residents of the house played music and danced on the meadow in the evening, which was very entertaining. Jan is very likeable and can tell you a lot about his own experiences, very exciting and interesting. Many thanks for a wonderful time.

The place is exactly as described, very nice view, almost potted, terrain. Two fire pits, which of course will always be the first to go. But I was lucky. The bathroom is perfectly okay, more than enough to go to the toilet and take a shower. The host is a very relaxed, friendly guy. We'll definitely be back again, it's just around the corner.
The communication was flawless! The location is secluded and the view is fantastic. There is a clean bathroom with shower, toilet and hot water. There are other people living on the site. We shared the tent pitch with two other campers. It would have easily fitted two more campers, but you would still have had your own intimate space. The only thing was that the meadow was very high and therefore wet in single-digit temperatures. This meant that shoes, socks and trousers were completely wet if you only had to go to the toilet for a short time. A mown strip would be great :-)

It is a beautiful meadow with a very nice view. The contact was uncomplicated. Nobody was there when we arrived, but everything we needed to know was well described to us beforehand. We would love to come back!

We spent a really great weekend on the meadow. The nature, the view and the seclusion, as well as the bathroom and the possibility of getting water and electricity, make it the perfect mix of free standing and camping. After a telephone briefing on the first evening, Jan came to greet us the next morning and was always available for questions. We really enjoyed the beautiful site and the friendly host and will be back!
We received a very friendly welcome from Jan. He also offered us an alternative if we didn't want to or couldn't stand on the meadow because of the heavy rain. That's the way it should be.
It was very idyllic on Jan's meadow. There is also a shower and toilet. Just the right thing for a short break.

Great quiet place with an unobstructed view of the surrounding area. Jan is super nice & uncomplicated. Sufficiently large meadow for 3-4 campers, very gladly again.
The meadow is very quiet and has a great view of the surrounding area. The toilet, showers and washing-up area are great and very close to the meadow. Jan rounds off the whole thing with his very friendly manner. Great host 👏👍
Very good stay, even if it wasn't entirely clear to me that we were sharing the meadow with up to 6-7 parties (there were 3 others there). Nevertheless very quiet and relaxing, we had a swing and the fireplace for us, wood was available as described by the host and arrival and departure took place without stress. There was a proper bathroom with shower and toilet + composting toilet and an outdoor sink with cold water. We didn't explore the surrounding area, we only stayed one night to test the equipment with a view of the sunset.

Nice place with a great view. In the rain the meadow is a bit tricky, unfortunately only the driveway is a bit gravelled, but the host offers direct towing facilities; overall recommended :)

A really beautiful place! Jan is an extraordinarily friendly and helpful person, and the weather was really bad with heavy rain, but Jan didn't hesitate for a second and freed our stuck bus in the evening with his four-wheel drive, thanks again! We would love to come again - in better weather :-D
We felt very comfortable with Jan on the meadow. You have a really great view into the distance, as described. We were able to settle in easily on arrival. Jan came and showed and explained everything to us. It was nice that we were allowed to use the bathroom and had the choice between a composting toilet and a normal toilet. We would love to come back!
Meadow and distant views at their best. Pure tranquillity. In addition to the composting toilet, there is also a spotless bathroom and an outdoor sink. Jan is a very friendly and obliging host. I would love to come back.
We had a very nice time. Jan is a very relaxed and extremely friendly host. He had already set out the camping chairs, fire bowl and firewood for us when we arrived. The sanitary facilities are excellent and are only topped by the beautiful view over the countryside. We will definitely be back.
I spent one night with my tent in Jan's meadow at Easter 2024 and was completely satisfied. I had the peace and quiet I was looking for and a beautiful view. I would gladly stay again.
Large meadow. Quiet and rural. Well maintained area. Great to switch off and air your head. Fireplace available - very cozy at Jan. Contact fast, uncomplicated and friendly.

Jan himself I have not met, but a sympathetic substitute. The place is fortunately well fortify. Since I had unfortunately booked for one night continuous rain and wind, I could not explore the surroundings. The view from the place was worth the trip ☺️

Jan is very nice also the contact before went smoothly. Responds very quickly. Pitch with a lot of privacy. Wc super solved. Pure relaxation. If you want everything you need is there. We have booked directly again.

Super nice meadow (and huge), in the middle of the fields and meadows in the Siebengebirge (hay fever sufferers should arm themselves well at the appropriate time of year 😉). There was even more infrastructure than indicated. Everything is very dog friendly, even if you have somewhat problematic dogs. Jan is a totally nice host, with whom you can also chat a bit over a beer 😊 We can only recommend the place without reservation and will certainly come again 🏕️🐾☀️
A beautiful place with a fantastic view. The hosts (father and daughter) are very nice and can give good tips for trips in the area. We felt very comfortable there.
