Very nice and quiet pitch three steps away from the forest. Michael gave us a warm welcome and, with a short briefing, also some nice hiking tips. The view is great and is accompanied by the sound of crickets, cicadas and woodpeckers. Perfect for a short break. Thank you Michael and I think I'll be back again.
Absolute recommendation! Michael and his wife are very sympathetic hosts...the pitch directly at the forest entrance is well equipped with electricity, enough space and a large fireplace...the courtyard is very beautiful and the sanitary area very well maintained. The view towards the Vosges is simply fantastic! We will definitely be back!
We arrived at Michael's at very short notice and late, but that was no problem, we were warmly welcomed and had a very nice pitch with a sensational view! We were just able to enjoy the sunset on the far horizon. We would love to come back!
The pitch at Michael's in Kappelrodeck is beautiful and has a wonderful view of the wide valley. Michael is a very nice host who you can contact at any time if you need information or other support. We had a wonderful time with Michael. The spot is unique, with a breathtaking view over the Rhine plain, a large fireplace and good sanitary facilities. It's great that you can drive right up to the site and still have total peace and quiet. But the best thing is the great host, who welcomes you with his warm manner. An absolute recommendation! We will definitely be back. :-)
It was a great weekend with fantastic weather. The host "Michael" gave us a great welcome and a nice chat was also welcome. The view, the flair of tranquillity and an uncrowded campsite made the whole thing an unforgettable short break. We will definitely be back. MANY THANKS

A paradise in the middle of nature Our stay with our "movie van" at this picturesque campsite, was simply magical. From the minute we arrived, we were overwhelmed by the breathtaking view we had - from the majestic peaks of the Black Forest, to the rolling hills of the Vosges, to the Alps on the horizon. Nature surrounds this place with such intensity that you can't help but feel completely relaxed and renewed. The heavenly tranquility, interrupted only by the gentle chirping of birds, was exactly what we were looking for. The paved, absolutely level, grass and gravel surface was perfect for our 6-meter campervan. And the possibility to sit at the barbecue area in the evening and watch the starry sky, (emptying a bottle of wine by the way) was a real highlight. The host Michael has really thought of everything: from the clear directions on how to get there, which was problem-free despite the steep paths, to the toilet provided, which was clean and well maintained (and yet not used by us ;) The attention to detail and the desire to offer guests a unique experience were palpable in every aspect. Together with our dog Lucy, we enjoyed every moment of our stay. Although we would love to keep this place a "secret" to ourselves, we are super happy to give this idyllic place a smooth 5 star plus rating and can't wait to return. A huge thank you for an unforgettable experience!

The pitch is fantastic! The view was incredibly impressive despite the rather bad weather! Our host, the Michael, is an incredibly nice guy! We were able to park our car under a canopy because of the storm. Thus we had nevertheless a restful night. Thank you Michael, we will be back.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, a beautiful view over the Rhine Valley to the Vosges Mountains and fresh water from the spring, Michael is the right place for you. We were warmly welcomed by him and immediately felt at home. At the site there is a fire bowl with grill grate and wood, as well as a power connection. No through traffic, because directly behind the site begins the forest. We will definitely come again.If you could give more than 5 stars we would do that. Thank you Michael
Mega beautiful place; super friendly hosts; wonderful location. In sum, we had only highlights. A fireplace directly at our pitch, spring water - an absolute dream.
