A very nice contact with Thomas who welcomes his guests in a friendly and helpful manner. A great overnight stay on a very beautiful site in very quiet surroundings.
Another real hit on our trip with the Hinterland App. Thomas and Waltraud's pitch with its own beekeeping is in an absolutely idyllic location. Direct access to the small wood, where we saw a hare, a deer and briefly a fox yesterday evening after Thomas' barbecue invitation. Beautiful garden with delicious fruit, berries and plants. You can tell that the two hosts are very empathetic and social people who also share their beautiful home with other people. Interesting, friendly people. We had a wonderful day in a large, well-kept and natural garden with fruit trees and berry bushes, which we were allowed to help ourselves to. We felt very comfortable and welcome. A special highlight was the beekeeper tour and the chicken coop. Our time with Thomas was relaxing and enriching - we will definitely be back! A very friendly host who we would be happy to recommend.
We were guests at Thomas' place when we were passing through on our motorcycle. Small cottage with a bunk bed (bed linen was provided), washing facilities, outdoor seating and an outside dry toilet in a beautiful natural setting in the middle of a large garden. We had the whole corner to ourselves for quiet relaxation. Small garden kitchen available with crockery/gas stove. Thomas is a totally friendly, uncomplicated host who makes you feel welcome!
Many thanks dear Thomas for the beautiful pitch on the edge of the forest with a view of the large garden. We were warmly welcomed and immediately provided with fresh vegetables, herbs and eggs. Thomas offered us great accommodation, even if unfortunately only for one night! Including two dogs, we all fitted into the cottage without any problems. Fresh water and a gas stove were available - of course we also tested the shower in the garden 👍🏼Ein great garden, from which fields and forest are directly accessible. Super hospitable and available for questions 🌳🐕🦺 We would love to come back!
We were looking for a nice place to camp near the Serengeti Park and found an idyllic spot at Thomas's. Due to the weather, we stayed in the lovingly furnished hut. The highlight for our little one was the loft bed. The host was very friendly and helpful and also surprised us with fresh eggs and homemade honey the next morning. We were completely happy and satisfied and really enjoyed the location by the forest. We would recommend the place 100% and would be happy to come back.

Very nice place right on the edge of the forest. Wake up to the quiet crowing of roosters. Around the corner, as befits a beekeeper, there were lots of beehives, but neither was disturbing at all - it was absolutely idyllic. We briefly heard the sound of the highway in the background, probably depending on the wind, but later there was nothing more to hear. In the morning, there was a pack of fresh eggs on our table, which we immediately turned into delicious fried eggs. We also bought a jar of homemade honey. It only took us about 10 minutes to get to the Serengeti Park in the morning. We would definitely like to come back.
A great pitch that is even more beautiful than in the photos in the ad. In the middle of a huge garden and right next to the forest, we had a very nice retreat here. The host Thomas is very nice and provided us with seating furniture, a fire basket and barbecue and greeted us with breakfast eggs for the next morning. Solar shower in the garden included.

Dear Thomas , dear Waltraud, thank you very much for the wonderful time with you. The time, the place to camp and your beautiful garden were our first backcountry experience and it could not have been more dreamlike.Due to the location in the garden we have totally protected and quiet.Thomas is a very warm and helpful person.He showed us the garden and offered us to use the solar shower 👍.Also the fruit in the garden we were allowed to taste.Our place was also located so that we had direct access to the forest. We have met very nice hosts. The pitch in a huge garden leaves nothing to be desired. So you can choose between an idyllic place under trees and a place in the middle of a vegetable garden and a neutral place, depending on your needs. Additional services such as electricity, water and waste disposal are included in the price. This offer, plus the ambience of the whole property, are unbeatable. For peace and nature seekers there is hardly anything better.
