Perfect place for a few great bike tours, even with a child. Very nice host family, you won't find so much peace and cleanliness on any other campsite. We'll definitely be back again.

Markus was a great host, super friendly, quick responses and everything very straightforward. His property including sanitary facilities was incredibly beautiful, well maintained, clean and I will come again. An extension of one day was also no problem! Absolute recommendation for a relaxing weekend.

The place is just beautifully located. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. The sanitary facilities are the cracker! The site is particularly well suited as a starting point for bike tours. Markus is an attentive host and is happy to give tips for excursions in the area. The kids enjoyed playing with the other kids and baking stick bread at the fire pit in the evening. We will be happy to come back again!
Great little place in the middle of the green. Markus is totally uncomplicated and symphatic, answers very quickly to questions in advance and is always good for nen Schnack. The showers and toilets are 1 A! Pure idyll and tranquility, we come back with pleasure!
Very, very nice place, very nice host, great atmosphere and for camping really luxury.
Here you will find nothing; and yet have everything you need 😊 Pure nature! Whereby, the sanitary facilities in the hall already remind of a 5 star hotel😉. 10 minutes walk we found a nice garden cafe. That our children were there at the same time as other children was the icing on the cake. Bread on sticks and sausages at the campfire and in the background the sunset. Simply idyllic 😃 Markus as host was just a cool sock 😁 Very dear greetings from the blue Bulli!
We have stayed at Markus' place many times because the area is so quiet and Markus is a cool host. You can bike well in the area, a few smaller towns are nearby. The place in the middle of the green is beautiful and the sanitary facilities are top.

The first experience with "Hinterland.camp" was TOP! The short stay in Schermbeck was terrific. Great host, quick response. On site everything available, especially noteworthy the top-maintained sanitary facilities, a cool drink, possibility to prepare food and a friendly welcome. On other portals it would be called SUPERHOST. 5-star +++++
A super beautiful, very idyllic place in the nature. Next to it the above-average sanitary facilities. And a totally nice host. Absolutely recommended.
We, dad with daughter (7), found a wonderful campground at Markus after our little bike trip to Schermbeck. The adjacent barn (sensational meeting place) offers clean and well-kept sanitary facilities in hotel quality. Markus was always helpful and also had tips for eliminating the hunger of young and old. The Feierabendbier (also non-alcoholic, Radler, soda) is ready in the fridge and can be taken for a fee. Absolute recommendation!
Super nice host. Were very friendly welcome and very helpful (helped to push our folding caravan on the pitch). There were also tips for the surrounding area from Markus. The place was beautifully situated. First the wide fields around and then the forest. The children could even watch deer. The sanitary facilities were very clean and very well maintained. A very good starting point for trips to the surrounding places.
I can not imagine a better place for this family celebration! Beautiful place, everything you need to celebrate and get together is available and the host open, deeply relaxed and heel gezellig!
I do not even know whether I should praise our secret tip so much :). We were now for the third time with Markus in Schermbeck. It is so relaxed and quiet there. The ideal place to relax from the city and work life.

Breakfast with deer ;) We were very warmly welcomed and have enjoyed the stay very much! The sanitary facilities are super clean and the pitches are large and directly in nature. Absolute recommendation - come again with pleasure.
A wonderful place to stay! We are very happy to come back. Nice contact with the host, who was not on site at the time, however. However, his mother, who welcomed us very friendly. We especially liked that we could make a fire in the evening. fire in the evening. Absolute plus: shower, toilet, kitchen and everything tiptop clean.

We were very warmly welcomed and were even allowed to help ourselves to the drinks fridge 🤗 The place is beautiful and quietly located in nature. Shower and bathroom and even kitchen can be used in the modern converted barn, which is also available for seminars. Absolute luxury class! Electricity is also available, what more could you want! We will be happy to come back!
We were the first time with Markus. The facility is totally quiet and the outdoor barn super modern and clean. Markus is a very friendly, helpful and sympathetic host. The fresh eggs we got were super tasty :) We will be happy to come back.
We have found it here really very good and can only recommend the place. You stand very quiet with a view of the open field. The very modern wash house with toilets and spacious showers are on the other side very close to the place. The reception by Markus was very warm and left nothing to be desired. From here you can go wonderfully by bike to the castle Raesfeld and also hiking is possible here in the immediate vicinity. We will definitely be back!
Unfortunately, we could not arrive due to illness. This could be easily discussed with Markus and he offered us to make up for our overnight stay on another date. Super nice!

We were there for the 2nd time. Everything was great again. Markus is a relaxed host, the place is beautifully located and the sanitary facilities leave nothing to be desired. Nearby is a nursery, there was coffee, cake, ice cream, drinks, this was an additional highlight.

The pitch at Markus is fantastic. It is idyllically located with a view of green pastures, fields and horses. Even chickens are with the party. The sanitary facilities (toilet and shower) in the restored barn are super modern and clean. Markus is a very sympathetic host. We will be happy to come again.
Had at Markus for two nights a super pitch. Was warmly welcomed by Markus mother. WC and shower super clean, made beautiful tours with the bike really recommendable.
The location is simply super ! We felt very comfortable from the beginning. Idyllic quiet with a super view of the fields. Campfire romance included! Who does not come down here and feels good is to blame :-)) Thanks to Markus and also to his mother for such a great place to relax with feel-good factor!

Our overnight stay with Markus was great all around! Absolute peace, wide view, a great host and sanitary facilities in perfect condition. So camping is fun!

We liked it very much. We have never had such a quiet campsite. There was no car to hear. We will gladly come again.
Markus is an incredibly nice, relaxed and helpful host and always available for a quick chat. The location is perfect - quiet surroundings with lots of adjacent nature. If you take your time, you can see deer and field hares here and there, which can be observed while having breakfast. Barbecue and fireplace can be used at will. Adjacent to the site is a newly converted barn. All very clean and tidy. The kitchen is also well equipped - a welcome alternative to the barbecue when it rains in the evening (as it always does for us) ;) By car it is about 5min to the city / village for necessary shopping (baker, netto, Dönermann, ice cream parlor, etc.) We recommend the location to all who like chickens and fresh eggs and have nothing against waking up in the morning by rooster crowing :) We will gladly come again. Thank you!
Already at the greeting it is clear that Markus is a very nice host. He gives useful tips, radiates calm, but also good humor. We (Kangoo + awning) are not (yet) self-sufficient, so we were pleased to be able to use the shower / toilet and kitchen. Everything top! Otherwise - wonderful peace (you hear no cars), beautiful scenery, the sky perfect for star gazing. All in all - it was only a weekend, but it felt like a vacation. We will definitely come again! We had a very nice stay with Markus. He was a super "MTB Guide" and showed us some great trails. The site was beautiful and we enjoyed a unique sunset against a gorgeous backdrop. Thanks for the great experience!
Nature, peace and pure relaxation. It was a wonderful and relaxing time for us. All around are endless fields and forests, which invite you to beautiful walks and bike rides. On the lovingly landscaped green space you will find large pitches, spotlessly clean toilets and showers, a kitchen, a cozy fireplace, animal neighbors (chickens) and the easy-going host Markus, where hospitality is very important. The icing on the cake was fresh chicken eggs for breakfast. Thanks for the great time :-)

The pitch at Markus was super nice, quiet, because really in the middle of the fields and the stay totally uncomplicated. We were received friendly and could easily choose a place on the large meadow. In the middle of the meadow you can even make a campfire. The super clean sanitary facilities and also the kitchen for washing up can be used in the newly renovated barn. With us were two other campers there. For breakfast we even got a few eggs from their own chickens as a gift. We would always recommend the pitch.
We were there for 3 nights with our caravans / not self-sufficient. Beautiful place with many opportunities to explore the surrounding area. Shower and toilet top. Nice hosts We will be happy to come back. Inge and Rainer from Bremen
Wonderfully quiet, located in beautiful countryside, you can relax super. In addition, Markus is a very great host. As an "apology" for the crowing of the rooster there were eggs of their own chickens, super! I come very happy once again!
