We spent three nights on Harald’s lawn to explore Passau and the surrounding area. Harald gave us a warm welcome and would have been easy to reach if we had any questions. We really loved the quiet location and the “view” from the site. There’s no cell phone reception at the campsite itself, but that didn’t bother us. Wi-Fi is available at Harald’s house, about 20 meters from the campsite. If you need access to “external” restroom facilities, there’s a solution available in the house—just check with Harald. We’d definitely stay with Harald again if we’re in the Passau area.
Beautiful place, by the rushing stream
Harald is a very nice host, helpful and very concerned about the well-being of his guests (we had forgotten our milk, he immediately had a solution😊). Super well-kept meadow pitch, freshly mowed on arrival and pure nature all around, with lots of fireflies at night. We look forward to the next time with you🍀. Astrid & Georg
Good pitch for a tent with a nice flat grassed area. Harald is super nice and was very accomodating with our travel plans and having two children with us. Bathroom and shower is newly renovated. We had a lovely and relaxing time. Thank you.
Nice, quiet pitch. You can use the shower and toilet, there is even a small kitchen. Thank you for the relaxing stay 🚐

Our first impression after finding Harald's Hinterland Camp was that it was idyllically situated and absolutely peaceful. Comfortably situated in the valley by a stream, we were allowed to choose our pitch on the adjacent meadow behind the house. You immediately feel at home and can relax to the sound of the stream and the view of a small chapel. Since we liked it so much, we booked another night. Our conclusion: very friendly host, beautiful and quiet location. We would love to come back. 👍

Uncomplicated
We were just passing through on our way to Italy, but the stopover at Harald's was nice and quiet. We were in the camper with pop-up roof there, the stream was right next to it and rippled pleasantly. Harald was very friendly and we could use the shower and toilet by arrangement. We are very happy to come back!

Very idyllic place in the nature. Hiking routes were right on site. Harald was a great host. Shower and wc we could use and everything was clean. We like to come back ☺️
Spontaneous decision for this location. Arrival 1.5 h after confirmation around 22 clock no problem. Harald is very nice and accommodating, he immediately took care of and showed us everything.toilet and shower can be shared and are very modern and clean. A small kitchen with everything important is also available. We had only needed a place to sleep and for that it was great, always happy to return.
