  This spacious campsite is located in an absolutely quiet and beautiful natural setting, away from any traffic, with great hiking opportunities throughout the Elster Valley. Trips to Gera or Zeitz are no problem by car, train, or bike. The access ramps at the site are a plus, and in the summer you can always find a shady spot on the meadow. Many thanks to our super-friendly host, Stefan. We’ll definitely be back!

  Uncomplicated, very friendly and Stefan also asked from time to time if we needed anything. The site is beautiful, between cows and fields.

  I had been looking for just such a pitch - alone, a bit remote, in the countryside and, above all, quiet. This place had it all! The very nice host personally took us to the pitch. As it's not far from us, we'll definitely be back - it doesn't always have to be far away to find peace and quiet. Thank you and best regards!

  Very quiet pitch in the middle of nature, just wonderful :) We, and especially our dog, enjoyed the walks in the beautiful countryside. Stefan is an uncomplicated and friendly host.

  We were here in the spring. We were very nicely welcomed and the host accompanied us to the pitch. A nice little spot to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and listen to nature. Bats, fox and brown hare and all kinds of small animals can be observed here. One stands close to a small rushing brook, in which our dog amused itself. Of course, there is also shade for those who find the sun too warm. And there are cattle on the surrounding green hills. Coffee, excellent homemade cakes and wood-fired pizza in the evening are available at the Café zum Esel not far away in Wetterzeube. Bicycles are available. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and will certainly come again for a little time out. Best regards, Stefan and Daniela
