Simply great ☺️ We felt very comfortable under the lime trees with chickens and horses. We were given a wonderful welcome, eggs from their own chickens and tips on what to do in the area. Really great pitch and wonderful hosts!

A level of hospitality that is rarely experienced!!! We booked spontaneously as it was not possible to find a campsite for us and our three kids at short notice over Whitsun. We didn't even know Hinterland Camp and now, after our stay with Tanja and Michael, we can almost no longer imagine visiting a normal campsite. They have set the bar so high for what we can expect in the future that it will be hard to top these three days of peace and friendliness. You are simply made to feel welcome, greeted with fresh eggs, water and constant helpfulness. The children were allowed to feed the chickens and play with the farm dog Tascha and so much more. In the evening, Michael provided us with the huge fire barrel, for which our kids were allowed to fetch the wood with him and then we sat comfortably by the fire. When we were surprised by a heavy shower on our way back from Norddeich, we were able to ask Tanja to secure our belongings. We are simply speechless and will definitely be back. We came across Hinterland Camp out of "necessity" and spent the best camping weekend ever. Thank you so much for that, my dears!

Very nice host, we were greeted with fresh eggs and wild garlic, later there was still a small Absacket and the next morning we were delivered bread rolls! We felt very comfortable on the meadow under the lime tree!

I went here spontaneously with my son. The access road is adventurous but no problem thanks to Michael's help! Very helpful family and the spontaneous "fence beer" did its best. Thank you very much! We would love to come back to enjoy a quiet weekend among the horse meadows!

Hinterland camping as it should be! Great, nice and accommodating hosts, rarely met so helpful and understanding people! A beautiful site on a quiet meadow directly on the forest between chickens and paddock. The description was super and the place great to find, no stress at arrival or departure. Fresh eggs as a welcome, always fresh water and a lot of great tips and nice conversation. The time there was definitely too short, anytime gladly again!

My children and I liked it very much, we have met a very nice and helpful family. The pitch was great, also the environment and design is very diverse and neat . Very happy again :)

Very friendly hosts!! From the reception to the farewell everything was impeccable, we got plenty of tips for things to do in the area, water and electricity included, as well as nice conversations. Really just a relaxed atmosphere with relaxed hosts!!! Unfortunately we had to leave early, but would love to come back again!

Upon arrival, we were welcomed openly and casually 😊. As a welcome, there was directly fresh eggs (which we have tasted very good 😋). The place is beautiful and you stand on a fortified meadow, with a clear view in nature 🌳🌲. With a delicious "fence beer", we have the evening with a final campfire 🔥 end. Unfortunately, we had only one night. Therefore, it is certain for us that we will definitely visit this great place of peace and hospitality of Tanja and Michael again 😀. On this beautiful quiet place between horse and chicken we felt very comfortable. In addition to delicious fresh eggs and always enough firewood for the fire barrel, we received many great tips on what we can do and what you must have seen in the vicinity. Especially by the honest hospitable way we have felt welcome and come back with pleasure.

We had a super weekend with Michael and Tanja, starting with the friendly welcome, a great pitch at the horse / sheep paddock, the beautiful bike paths from the farm to Jever and Wilhelmshaven, the seamless integration into the maypole celebration (incl. thick skull the day after :-) and the very relaxed departure arrangements. All that makes Hinterland Camping for us. We would very much like to come again!

We had a very relaxing stay. The hosts are great: super friendly and more than helpful - we are thrilled and look forward to coming back soon. The site is directly on a beautiful forest, so ideal for walking. Overall, a very idyllic location "under the linden trees". Our dog was quite infatuated with Tascha, the "farm dog". :-)
