The drive over the serpentines was wonderful. The communication with Reinald was great. There is a gravel road down to his property and the pitch is uphill at an angle. You stand at a slight angle and it's a bit narrow. But the view is amazing. I was there with a VW bus. It shouldn't be any bigger. Reinald is totally helpful and is happy to show you the great surroundings. The toilets and shower are at the bottom of the house and you have to go down a small hill. The pool is also there. Or you can take a dip in the mountain stream. Simply wonderful. Great views. Super hiking area. A great experience😊. Gladly again. Many thanks Reinald🤗
Absolutely friendly host, received lots of tips for the journey and excursions in advance, and great communication! Very nice! He shared a lot of things with us. Small cool pool for shared use as well as cold water fridge. Electricity at the house. Wonderful surroundings, very quiet. However, the pitch was a bit narrow, slightly sloping with stony ground. Hosts always ready to help. Arrival not suitable for extra-long, extra-wide vehicles. We drive the long Citroen Berlingo, which was just fine.
A dream! Super pitch with fantastic views of the pristine mountains! Reinald is very helpful, cordial, interested and can tell you a lot about Mantet, good hiking routes and the game. I hope very much that I make it there again
After an adventurous drive through the serpentines you arrive in a beautiful little village. The site offers a breathtaking view over the whole valley. Not suitable for motorhomes or caravans. The approach would not fit in front, back and sides ! :D Reinald is a quiet but warm host. In the morning we left early for a mountain hike and could watch game. I spent a very nice time there and will be happy to come back!
With Reinald in the Pyrenees, it was an adventure for us. It started with the fabulous journey, his great hospitality, swimming in the mountain river, the great mountain views, his elderberry juice, the starry sky and the feeling of being a little at the end of the world :-) Thanks to you for that, Reinald!
