Very friendly hosts with a beautiful spot in the Wendland region. We’d love to come back sometime.
We felt very, very comfortable staying with Susann and Gert. Communication was easy, the space behind the house is beautiful, the bathroom was spotless, and above all, both hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Our hosts gave us a warm welcome; the shepherd’s wagon is very cozy, and the large meadow behind the house is beautiful—even more so than in the photos. Susann and Gert gave us lots of great tips and told us many interesting things about their region. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts and would love to come back.

We had a great stay with Susann. Cozy garden, clean bathroom and nice hosts.
It was great at Susann's shepherd's wagon. The caravan is totally lovingly built, it is very cozy and smells of wood. The shower/WC was also wonderful. Susann was always approachable and helpful, so communication was flawless. Highly recommended!

We spent 2 relaxing nights in the Schäferwagen and felt very comfortable there in the garden! The two of them are a great team of hosts and we are totally impressed by their creativity :) Communication and contact were direct and very cordial, the accommodation as described with shower and everything. We found a beautiful place in nature, which is designed and maintained with a lot of love. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful. Everything was perfectly equipped for the needs of the camping guests. Unfortunately, the raspberries and strawberries were not yet ripe...... 😉
My husband, our four-year-old daughter and I spent the weekend camping behind the half-timbered house. All three of us were thrilled, it's a magical and exciting place for children too: very lovingly designed garden, chickens, wildflower meadow, spring directly on the property, swing, thousands of songbirds to listen to and watch. Great view over the fields - quiet, relaxed, private. Comfortable guest veranda and well-equipped, spotlessly clean sanitary facilities. Very nice contact, both digitally and in person!
This was our second time here and we wondered why we waited so long to book again. Everything is just right here: beautiful surroundings, super nice hosts and the comfort of a bathroom where you almost feel like you're in a hotel. This time we had bikes with us, which is also highly recommended for exploring the surrounding area.
Unfortunately, it was only one day and one night, but the warmth and simplicity of Susann and Gerhard are simply unbeatable. In contrast to "advertising photos" of other places, the photos here did not do justice to the beauty of this place. It was a wonderful stay. Thank you for that! We will be back...
Susann and her husband made me feel completely at home. The place in their garden is very nice and they were both very friendly and gave me tips for hikes and bike tours. I would recommend the place immediately and would be happy to come back 😊
Could still get a place at very short notice (10 minutes), there was also an open ear for smaller special requests. Bathroom very nice and easily accessible. Fair price
We were delighted with this wonderful place! We can only warmly recommend a stay here. The hosts are super friendly, the meadow is beautiful and the toilet and shower are modern and super clean! For us, it was the perfect place to enjoy peace and quiet and look at the stars.
This is the 4th time I've stayed with Susann and Gerhard. They are great hosts and I feel very comfortable in this wonderful place.
Our start with Hinterland was just perfect. Susann offers everything you could wish for when camping: a beautiful pitch in quiet surroundings and a very clean bathroom. We received a very warm welcome and, as newbies to camping, were also given good tips. We will definitely be back.

We stayed in a well-kept property on an idyllic meadow. The hosts were warm and friendly. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.
"Goethe was here" - as a sign on the barn proves. Good. Then I'm not in a bad community. That's right. Because Susann and Gerhard have created a perfect camping garden: In the back garden between a few bushes and trees right next to a meadow, with an outdoor seating area made from an old sewing machine. In the barn (plastered with clay on the inside) there is a barrier-free shower/toilet, with a seating area in front with a children's play kitchen. Communication always super friendly and personal - I would still have wanted to camp there... Thank you very much (despite my rather short journey)!

We felt very comfortable! The standing room is beautifully located in the greenery and it is idyllic. We were very warmly welcomed and enjoyed the conversations with Susann and Gerhard very much! They regularly inquired about our well-being and were very hospitable! And the bathroom is really super. We will be happy to come back again! Love greetings
Susanne and Gerhard are very nice, helpful and nature-loving hosts. Already the contact to my short-term request was very nice, the response very timely. The communication on site was then just as nice and pleasant. The property with the beautiful meadow radiates peace and invites you to just look into the greenery and come to rest. The little-traveled road within earshot hardly disturbs (I am otherwise sensitive to noise). The bathroom (with toilet, shower, sink) is spotlessly clean and even has a small heater. My first overnight stay over hinterland - a direct hit! I'll be very happy to come back if I'm in the area again!

We felt very comfortable and very welcome at Susann and Gerhard on their beautiful property. You stand on in the green with a view over the meadows and we could build our awning, which was really important in the heat. The sanitary facilities are great, new and very well maintained. The outdoor shower was wonderful to cool off in temperatures over 30 degrees. We will be happy to come back again!

We were after 20 years of camping with our folding caravan for the first time not on a campsite and have drawn the big lot with the garden pitch at Susann and Gerhard. The communication for the reservation was completely problem-free, our emails were answered immediately. Susann has us before the arrival fortunately still pointed out to please bring mosquito repellent. I can only agree with the opinion of our predecessors! A dream! By the way, the "bathroom" can compete with 5-star campsites! We come again with pleasure.

From the site can be very good tours in the Wendland plan. And you like to come back in the evening. Susan and Gerhardt are loving hosts with whom we have held very good Klönschnack. We are very very happy to come back!

We were very warmly welcomed, the place is super, the hosts very nice and helpful. There were many excursion tips on foot and by bike. We quickly got into conversation about God and the world. The area can be explored very well by bike. We were certainly not the last time there. From Berlin it is a good two hours drive, super also suitable for a weekend. Already the second time there - this time with the kids! Gerhard has still extra lit a campfire and we stood then with all around the fire and have hissed at 0 degrees a beer! Susann and Gerhard are just the perfect hosts with Bulli DNA and the newly built shower in the annex with toilet is super (and wonderfully warm!). On the large property where we were allowed to stand, there is a great view over meadows and fields, many lovingly prepared seats and even in the barn a brand new, heated bathroom with shower...very clean and beautiful! It was just wonderful. The lovingly designed property with an incredibly great and relaxing atmosphere and in addition the two symphatic and warm hosts. It is a gift that they have created this beautiful spot of earth, which they have made accessible to people like us. That there is also a toilet and soon even a shower is the absolute highlight. We were guests of Susann and Gerhard for only one night - what a pity! A dreamlike place and sooo nice hosts, with whom we felt very comfortable! It was our first trip to the "hinterland" and thanks to Susann everything was very uncomplicated. Today we cook in the mirabelles that we were allowed to pick on the premises. We are looking forward to the next time!
Susann's garden was a beautiful place where there is something to discover at every corner. Also the bath in the barn, which we also needed with car and roof tent, was super. The place is very sweet and beautiful, for a walk you can even start directly from the property into the field. In addition, we were received very friendly and could choose where we want to stand.

Susann and Gerhard are very warm hosts and their "Hinterland" is a little paradise, which is created with a lot of noticeable love - a feel-good place where we like to come back. The location is ideal for cycling trips to the Wendland and along the Elbe cycle path. Tips are gladly given by the two.

We spent 2 nights on a lovingly renovated farm on the edge of the biosphere reserve. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. Several bike tours to interesting destinations are possible from here. We will definitely come again.
