We had the place all to ourselves. Everything went really smoothly. It was all great.

Extending the stay by one more day went smoothly

First of all: The site does NOT have a sauna, whirlpool, playground or alpacas. All these things are available on another pitch 1 km away in the village, where they can also be used. We chose the pitch because we wanted a pitch with a sauna and playground. We were therefore very disappointed, especially as we were traveling from Munich and Götting. But the site itself is very nice. I would definitely recommend it if you don't need a sauna etc. The communication was very friendly.

This is a booking for the campsite in Umpferstedt and was our first booking as a guest ever. Unfortunately, it was a bit confusing for us for various reasons. 1. you can book until 6 pm. But we didn't know what the arrival time would be. Is this also only until 6pm or can it also be later? 2. the booking of toilet use. What does "per unit" mean? Per night, or per person per night or even per use? I wrote to Christian about this in advance and unfortunately did not receive an answer. We then just booked on the off-chance and sent a message to the landline number via WhatsApp as requested. Unfortunately, we didn't receive a reply here either. Finally, I wrote to the email address. I received an automatic reply with further information. The site plan was also confusing because it shows that you should stand behind the "buildings". However, the photos in the advertisement showed the pitches between the fir trees. That's where we stood, because it wouldn't have been possible behind the "buildings". So far so good. What else was unpleasant: 1. the very bright lighting (Tannenhof fairy lights) all night long. This was not apparent in advance. 2. the cleanliness of the toilet/shower container was really an imposition. I expect more for €2.50 per person. We are glad that we didn't book the use of the showers separately because we definitely wouldn't have showered there. 3. the traffic noise all night long. Of course, the provider cannot influence this last point, but a note in the advertisement would otherwise be quite nice so that you can decide before booking whether this suits you. Conclusion: Due to the lighting, the cleanliness, the traffic noise and the associated price/performance ratio, we would not choose this pitch again. As information for future guests, which may be of interest to some: there is a notice at the entrance about video surveillance. There are also cameras there, but it was not clear to us which area this specifically covers.

Christian was very nice and the pitch was okay for an overnight stay. But we found the price of 30 euros including electricity for two people, the same as on a "normal" campsite, too high: a long way to the toilet, no toilet paper there and the washing facilities took some getting used to. So it's better to book a pitch without everything.

Beautiful area, clean toilets, great courtyard in the village with sauna Room for improvement: -Whirlpool very dirty and water stank. Filter completely clogged and floating particles everywhere -Sauna plunge pool not filled -few straight grass areas for camping -Beautiful wooden chairs + tables, but unfortunately extremely tippy -Chain of lights around the lake shines into the night, very bright But we would love to come back

Great place for one night. Quiet location with a pond in the middle. Where the carp jump for joy. 😊 Campfire included.

A wonderfully beautiful place. We stood on the plantation, where you can hear nothing but nature. Toilets and showers are housed in a container, which are a little older but well maintained.

Were there again for a few days . Nice as always .

We had the plantation to ourselves & spent a relaxing night!

I was there for 2 nights. The first night I was down at the farm. The pitches there are not recommended without chocks, but everything else was great. Clean sanitary facilities, clean site. I spent the second night at the pond. What a great location. If I need a pitch nearby again, I'll be happy to come back.

We were here with three adults and dog for 4 nights and were totally thrilled . Great pitch on the pond , beautiful hiking trails in the large plantation or in the adjacent forest , absolute peace despite proximity to the highway and a very friendly staff with Steffen at the top ! We will definitely be back.

Great place in nature by the pond and special cattle within sight... in the evening the pond is illuminated with a string of lights... nice host... gladly again...

Super location. We were 5 families with a total of 10 children on site for 2 days. It was a dream. Idyllic, clean, functional toilets and showers and only the frogs in the pond at night. We will be back.

Beautiful location. On the lake and with the lights on in the evening. Very successful. Many thanks. Sani is clean and functional. Cooking places a bit rare, is currently being renovated/expanded as you can see. There is also something for the kids to explore and marvel at. Highly recommended.

Several campers can spend the night in the middle of a fir plantation by a small pond without being too close to each other. The sanitary facilities are perfectly adequate and I always had someone to contact via WhatsApp. Many thanks for the great experience, including the campfire and bread on a stick.

During our transit to the north, we were looking for a place to spend the night! Super nice little place by the lake! Sanitary facilities are completely ok! Electricity and water directly on site! We are satisfied and would come again. 😊

Very nice pitch. We were in a very idyllic spot by the pond, surrounded by fir plantations. The sanitary container could do with a bit more maintenance, and only one toilet out of two was usable. Nevertheless, we will definitely be back!

Christian was a dedicated host who was always available to answer questions. We were on the plantation. We had the sauna and whirlpool to ourselves and were able to relax very nicely. The 10-minute walk was also no problem. Minor criticisms: -Standing in the yard was not possible at our time. We would have liked to have known that beforehand. -The pitch on the plantation was well laid out, but the sanitary container was not fully functional and not separated by gender. -Electricity was available, but there are only 4 sockets. This needed some organization with 6 users and could perhaps be optimized (e.g. more places, but only 10A). We still really enjoyed our Easter and would come again if we want to visit the area.

We had a very nice time in a great area. Perfect for relaxing and slowing down. Everything was there as described.

We have now spent the second day here because it was so idyllic. And as a correction to the first review, I have to say that there was now water in the washing container.

A wonderful, quiet place by the pond and forest. We liked it so much that we spontaneously extended our stay by one night. The only pity was that we were not informed that the water for the toilet and shower had been turned off.

There are two locations. One in the village at the farm and the other remotely at a pond. We were at the pitch with the pond. This is remote and quiet. A functional sanitary container and electricity are available. We loved it there because of the location by the pond and the forest. We will definitely be back.

We didn't see Christian, but everything was really well prepared for the guests and well explained. We had a wonderful short vacation! Can highly recommend the place by the pond!

The place is very special - Christmas trees do not provide shade! and the traffic of the busy intersection is also clearly audible throughout the night. Otherwise, the place corresponds to the description. Difficult was to get the right information for access. The host is not on site and should be contacted by landline number. Only this landline number is not stored at Hinterland. No one responded to the cell phone number. Fortunately, I found the place again at Landvergnügen, there is the landline number noted. Then the info worked smoothly. By the way: At Landvergnügen the place is the 1.night free of charge, the farm store is currently closed, so no expenses there either. At Hinterland, however, the place costs 19€, which makes you think.

Not available, therefore no stay

The stay could not be carried out for planning reasons. However, the communication with Christian was top.

Again and again gladly, because you have his peace and is very close to nature. No noise from squeaking cars or quarrels as in the big city. From time to time you can still hear the highway, but it did not bother us.Vogelgezwietscher,Schweinegründe or other animal noises overrule it.We see us this year certainly a few more times.😊😊😊😊

It was a very nice quiet time on the plantation. We all liked very much the quiet, the proximity to nature. It is very idyllic there, there is always something new to discover. We are very happy to come back, even if this site is quite remote. So you have at least time for yourself.

A very natural self-sufficient campsite. We were over the weekend and the children were thrilled by the alpacas, wool pigs.also deer and field hares ran across the site. The small mini pigs were the highlight for our children, they came to visit us often at the caravan. The highway was to be heard, but has not disturbed us. What was sad, was the sight of the many cut down fir trees from last Christmas that lay around on several piles or stacks and are now only schrettert.

We stood at the farm. For the kids, the chickens and ducks were a highlight. But we also went down to the plantation, a dream this view there. Christian gave us all the info we needed and even gave us a good tip about the village festival in Geroda. Thanks for that! We will definitely come again :-)

Unfortunately a very big disappointment. We had booked 3 nights. According to the description, there are 3 pitches available at the Tannenhof and 3 at the pond. We opted for one of the pitches at the pond. When we got there, there were already 5 camping vehicles there. The area is surrounded by a gravel road. There drove several times a day vehicles of the operators / employees along. One had the impression it is patrolled. Due to the dryness, you got a decent cloud of dirt every time the vehicles drove by. At the Tannenhof itself we could find only one toilet and a "solar outdoor shower", otherwise no possibility to shower. Of the 3 pitches at the Tannenhof was not a single occupied, which is not surprising, since the site makes in total no inviting impression. A contact person on site was not to be found. We have broken off our stay after one night.

Very nice place for those who love pure nature. We enjoyed it very much and will definitely come again.

Were on the plantation with Wohnanhäger and dog. We liked it very much. For the dog it was also super nice with the lake in front of the nose. For campers without sanitary facilities and water rather unsuitable as it is to the farm about 2km.

The location is wonderfully quiet and you can experience absolutely "nature-pur". Unfortunately, the description is somewhat misleading as there is neither a toilet, running water nor a shower at the lake. The shower (located outside) and the toilet are about 950m away. From the host you have neither heard nor seen anything but the neighbors were great. For a short trip certainly suitable, for longer stay rather less (unless you have shower and toilet)

Contact with the host by phone short and sweet, pitch at the Tannenhof with slope, wedges necessary almost everywhere, for 1 ÜN okay, highway is permanently to hear, despite the village rural location. Best autarkic use, all services available for emergency.

We have been here three nights free. The booking, arrival and contact were uncomplicated. Beautiful grounds on the lake, amid small and large fir trees. The area is good for cycling with children, beautiful forest trails, great motocross track. Here we come again with pleasure.

Very idyllic place. We were there for two nights. Very quiet, close to nature and especially away from all roads. A beautiful tranquility. We will definitely come back when we are in the area again.
