Great hosts, wonderful area, clean restroom. Unfortunately, it rained nonstop on the second day, so we had to head back early—but that meant we didn’t have to pay for the firewood from the night before! We’ll be back.
Spontaneous weekend trip with a city visit in the Netherlands. We had a wonderful 2.5 days close to nature on a spacious site with good infrastructure and attentive hosts. Just hop on your bike and go... To unwind, not far from home and yet with that holiday feeling.

We spent one night on this beautiful farm and it certainly wasn't the last time we were here! We felt completely at home there: the pitches are beautifully laid out, spacious and offer plenty of room to relax. We were particularly impressed by the peace and quiet, just what we needed to switch off. The host gave us great tips for exploring the area. There are many beautiful cycle routes around the campsite, which are absolutely worthwhile. There is even a solar shower for the brave ones on warm days, a real highlight!
Highly recommended! Super nice place. We wanted to test our new roof tent and stayed with Berthold and his family for one night. On arrival we were given a very warm welcome and Berthold and his wife showed us around the site. There are various pitch options, whether in the small wood or on the open meadow, there is a nice spot for every taste. The sanitary facilities were very clean and well maintained. There is a small shower house with a solar shower just outside in the woods. We had a very nice evening and can only recommend it!!!
It's a lovely spot under the trees with a view of the surrounding fields. We had a great evening around the campfire, and for €15 you get a wheelbarrow of firewood. You can hear the road very clearly when you're sitting outside, but you couldn't hear it at night in the van.

A really beautiful spot. Very well-kept green with lots of shady trees. Very nice and helpful hosts. We felt very comfortable and accepted with our autistic son. Thank you very much. We would love to come back.

We spent three nights on this beautiful farm and stayed on a great pitch surrounded by hydrangeas and tall oak trees. There are pitches with electricity and we were self-sufficient. There is a toilet in the house and a solar shower in the garden. The farm cat is great. If you're looking for a quiet pitch where you can just relax and unwind, this is the place for you. There are many excursion destinations in the area (there are also options for bad weather). Many thanks to Mechthild and Berthold for the great time. The hosts took the time to give us a detailed briefing. They even gave us personal tips for great activities in the immediate vicinity. We particularly liked the neighboring dairy farm with its own ice cream production and 24/7 vending machine :) Sanitary area very clean! Spacious and quiet area. All expectations were met. We would love to come back!
Very nice and warm hosts. We were given a choice of 3 pitches with electricity. We chose a wonderful spot under the lime trees with a view of the field. Everything you need was available and as described. The surrounding area is also very beautiful. In particular, the proximity to Winterswijk (25 min drive) is perfect if you fancy Dutch specialties. We will definitely be back again.

A really very nice place, super quiet, you can make a campfire in the evening, very nice hosts, great surroundings and we also had sun from morning to evening, gladly again.

We were able to relax very well in beautiful surroundings with nice people.
We had a very nice stay and were given a very friendly welcome. The grounds and the hos are very lovingly designed, you are really surrounded by greenery. The sanitary facilities are also well maintained, everything is really very nicely done. Depending on the wind direction, you can hear the next main road quite loudly. Otherwise everything was 100%.
Very nice contact, beautifully maintained property and garden, where we were allowed to stand with our Troopy. Firewood was brought over by Berthold in a wheelbarrow for a contribution towards expenses, including kindling. Clean toilets and a fridge where you can help yourself if you run out of drinks. The surrounding fields are great for walking or cycling. About 2.5 km away is a farm with homemade ice cream or in Stadtlohn itself a nice bakery where you can have breakfast. Super well-kept and quiet courtyard with everything you need: WC, outdoor shower, dishwashing facilities, fire bowl and wood. Beautiful surroundings for cycling etc. Plus very friendly and helpful hosts!!! I've been there twice and will definitely be back :)

The communication and arrival were uncomplicated. The hosts were very friendly. In addition to the information about camping on the farm, we were given great tips for excursions with dogs in the surrounding area. We would love to come back!

Great hosts of a super great location. Quiet and well maintained. Clean restroom. Even a 25M extension cord would be available. Great bonus is the fire bowl. Surrounding countryside invites biking. Gladly again

We were on site with the tent. The place that was assigned to us was a bit unfavorable due to the heavy rain, because we had to set up the tent in a depression and had small "lakes" around our tent the next morning. But otherwise a very nice place to stay, the toilet was clean.

A very quiet piece of meadow, surrounded by tall trees. Water directly at the pitch, as well as electricity. An outdoor shower 20 meters away, a clean toilet, a refrigerator with cold drinks, a fire bowl ( for an extra charge). More is not possible. Great location to cycle towards the Netherlands. In Stadtlohn there is a good Italian ( La Rosa) , about 3 kilometers away. We will definitely come again. Many thanks to the hosts for the wonderful time 🤗

Very nice sites with water and electricity. Hosts are very nice and also explain the surroundings and give excursion tips. The Münsterland has many beautiful bike paths, the city center is itself very nice. Only the absolute peace and quiet we have missed something, nearby is a small airfield, the road is not far away and you should remember that farming is done. But the pitches are really great and also very large.

Everything was great and as described. Very nice contact and very flexible arrival times. The reception was very warm. We could choose where we want to put us. A few local info gave it. The sanitary facilities were very clean and tidy. We will be happy to come back. :-)
Surely it's much nicer here when it's not raining cats and dogs for two and a half days and storming on top of that. When the glasses were not rained on and the window was not steamed up for once, you could see how beautifully situated under the trees the pitches are and how idyllic it can be here. The compassion has done well and the affectionate briefing and farewell also, thank you and see you soon!
Very nice hosts. The pitches are large enough. Sanitary clean and tidy. We spent the turn of the year in pleasant surroundings. Will certainly come again, as we would like to know the facility also in the green and sunny weather. Until then greetings from Conny & Dirk
We were the first time with Hinterland go and had directly drawn the big lot ! The place super located and clean. Everything you need (electricity, water, toilet) na dran. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and will certainly come there again, but then for a few days longer!!!!!!
Very nice and uncomplicated people. We feel directly welcome and comfortable. Our hosts were open, friendly and gave us good tips for activities in the area. The farm was very clean and presentable. The campsite was located next to a small oak forest with well-kept paths. All around beautiful farming communities with well maintained bike paths in rural nature. Very nice hosts! Uncomplicated stay. Would prefer a different meadow next time. The busy road is a good distance away, probably due to the wind direction we heard it a bit. Nice short vacation overall!
a nice, clean and quiet place and a very friendly host made our stopover extremely pleasant. Berthold is happy to provide information on a restaurant within walking distance for the evening meal and a strawberry farm for the travel provisions.
Beautifully located pitch far from the crowd. Berthold is totally uncomplicated and welcomed us with open arms. The "tent meadow" was within the Hofareal and offered our tent practical shade from morning to evening, which is very pleasant in the summer. Worth a walk is Bettina's Hofkonfetti, a farm about 2km away, where there is delicious homemade ice cream from the vending machine.
A great place with the sought-after tranquility. Class meadow with wonderful trees, who nsucht shade finds it here. We will come again!

A beautiful place earth in Stadtlohn. We were there Easter 2022. Although the places around the farm were fully occupied, everyone finds his individual location without that it is too crowded. Berthold welcomed us nicely and provided us with information about Stadtlohn. To recommend.
We had spent 2 great days here, it is a dream place! Very quiet, close to the Dutch border and especially to nature! It was our maiden voyage with the Mini WoWa and we will certainly come more often! Thank you for the warm welcome 😍
