A sunny, scenic, gently south-sloping, freshly mowed meadow site, located outside and above the village of Hassenbach. Booking was completely hassle-free; the site is easy to find using the coordinates and is also clearly signposted. Access is via an unpaved dirt road, but it’s flat and passable in all weather conditions. Don’t forget your wheel chocks—the higher up you park near the woodpile, the flatter the spot. There’s a firmly anchored bench with a table in the shade of the trees. Kerstin’s husband stopped by briefly on Sunday to check that everything was okay; overall, very hospitable. Even with multiple vehicles, you don’t have to squeeze in—there’s plenty of room to spread out.
I wrote to Kerstin to let her know when my arrival would be convenient and she quickly replied when it was convenient for me. Wonderfully uncomplicated. At first I was in the wrong place 😅, so to everyone else, yes the place is marked 😄. Google almost managed to find the spot with the coordinates. It was beautiful weather, with a beautiful view and a beautiful place! Thank you very much 😌

Even though it was hard to find, it was a special spot of peace and quiet and very safe due to the masters walking the dogs. Always active!
My two dogs and I felt very comfortable at this incredibly beautiful and quiet place. Great starting point for long walks and hikes. Kerstin is a very nice hostess. Be sure to bring wedges or cushions as the site is a bit steep. We will definitely be back.
Wonderfully quiet place in the middle of nowhere
A beautiful place with a great view. The hosts are very nice and help directly if you can't find the pitch straight away. Great hiking trails and little pedestrian traffic (walkers with dogs) on the site. I would love to come back!

This was our second visit to this beautiful campsite. Very nice hosts and lots of hiking opportunities directly from the campsite.
We extended our stay just as we did on our first visit and booked a few more days. There is still so much to discover here that we will be coming back more often.
It's a little tricky to find the spot, but it's worth the walk ;-) You will be rewarded with a beautiful view and heavenly peace. Kerstin we thank you!
Very nice and calm spot. Easily found with the coördinates received and google maps. Nice views from the top of the world.. will be coming back when I visit the area again in the future.

Great place in a very nice and quiet location. Edeka market in about 3 kilometers away. Surroundings excellent for walks, hikes and bike rides. Kerstin and your husband are very nice and accommodating hosts. It is really a beautiful place with a great view and really cozy atmosphere. We felt very comfortable and say thank you again for the wonderful weekend! Claudia & Michael

Beautiful starry sky and heavenly peace
A beautiful and quiet place among apple trees. At night you can wonderfully enjoy the silence and watch the stars. The absolute highlight for my daughter was the lovingly designed bathing area at the local stream.
A quiet place with a beautiful view! Perfect for a night's rest in transit, but certainly nice to stay a few days! The surrounding area, the Oerbachtal, seems very beautiful!
Very quiet and beautiful pitch in the middle of nature.
Due to a storm warning, we spontaneously unfortunately did not stay overnight. But the place has a very nice location. In communication Kerstin was in any case very uncomplicated and accommodating.

The communication with Kerstin was super nice. I had a wonderful stay at the meadow orchard. I felt good all around.
Were there for one night, for a stopover. Very nice hostess and also a very nice, quiet place in the middle of nature. From the place, which is elevated, you have a very nice far view over the country.
We felt so comfortable that we have extended directly. Next time we will book a few more days.
We were very happy that we got a place at very short notice (only requested about 3h before arrival). The communication with Kerstin was great including directions. The place is very nice with great views. We were able to watch a shepherd in the morning and evening as he led his flock (in sufficient distance for our dogs). Wedges are recommended on the site, it is absolutely quiet and idyllic. We felt very comfortable. The Oehrbachtal hiking trail very close by is also highly recommended. There are many bathing places for dogs there.
Very nice place on the meadow orchard outside the village. Beautiful view, lots of peace and very nice hosts. The Rhönkäppchen bike tour is great fun (but also quite hilly), great food in the White Roessl. The Rhön is always worth a trip!
Dear Kerstin, it was fantastic, everything as described. The trees give off beautiful shade and the view and the peace are wonderful. Especially nice is the self-made "Hinterland" entrance sign, there you can not miss where to go 😉. Can only recommend. Despite vacation you were always available and answered immediately. GLG Danie

Beautiful, quiet site surrounded by forest and fields with great distant views. We went from here with the bikes to Bad Kissingen and had a relaxing as well as eventful weekend. Clear recommendation!

Our first booking with Hinterland.camp was directly a hit. Super nice and helpful hosts who have good tips for exploring the area. The place is located a bit outside and offers a lot of peace and a great view. For dogs and owners a real paradise with many hiking and even swimming opportunities. We have directly rebooked and spent many beautiful days here. Shopping facilities can be reached in 5 minutes by car. A perfect place to leave the everyday life behind.
Very beautifully located meadow on the edge of the forest with great views of the valley. Pure relaxation! Kerstin was super friendly and has always answered quickly to my many questions. We will be happy to come back the next time we go to Austria :-)

Questions were answered quickly and helpfully. Upon arrival, I was very friendly welcomed and continued to feel very welcome. The place itself is located on a meadow on a gravel road and is well passable. You have a beautiful view and a lot of peace :) Me and my dog were very satisfied and will be happy to come back. Highly recommended!:)

The place is located on a hill, in a very nice, quiet location - in the middle of meadows and forests. We felt very comfortable. Very nice hosts who guided us to the place and gave us a short briefing. Highly recommended.
