One of the most beautiful campsites we've visited in Germany so far. It's in a very idyllic and quiet location, yet there are still places to shop nearby. Highly recommended!

Communication with Josefine was excellent, and she responded very quickly. The campsite was absolutely perfect, and we felt right at home.
We stayed here over the weekend. It’s a beautiful spot. The property is fully fenced in. Ideal for dog owners—dogs can run off-leash all day. Guests are welcome to use the rotisserie grill and fire pit. Josefine is a very kind host and very helpful. It was a pleasure to stay here.
Even though we were unfortunately unable to meet Josefine in person, the communication was great and we felt well looked after. We stood between the sheep and the fir trees. There was plenty of shade here. The sheep are very shy, so we hardly saw them. The road didn't bother us at all. There are great paths here for walking. Highly recommended :)
The place was perfect for me and my dog. We were greeted and instructed in a very friendly manner. Even firewood and a firelighter were provided. I was able to let my dog run free as the site was fenced in. You can easily walk into the village and there are also lots of hiking opportunities. I would love to come back.
Very nice location. Really recommendable, but not on such hot days. We would have hoped for more shade. Unfortunately we had to cancel because we were there with our 2 German Shepherds and they couldn't cool down in the heat.
Warm welcome. Very idyllic pitch. We would have liked to stay longer. The children liked the sheep, unfortunately too shy, and the outdoor pool.

Super nice stay in the Hessian outback between sheep and Christmas trees, for all those who want to camp completely self-sufficiently. Totally nice, helpful and uncomplicated hostess.
We had a wonderful, secluded overnight stay in the middle of nature with a campfire and stick bread. It was great. Josefine responded very quickly, flexibly and was super helpful. We would love to come back!
Great spot, warm hosts-parents😊, uncomplicated handling... simply wonderfully relaxing there,... in the nice company of a small flock of sheep😁. We will definitely be back wieder👍🏼.
Josefine is a nice and friendly hostess. The pitch in the Christmas tree plantation is really something special. You are beautifully secluded in the greenery. The flock of sheep was also on the plantation, but unfortunately they are very shy. But well, we were also strangers. The road that runs about 400m past the property was a little annoying. Not very busy but audible for the quiet idyll. Therefore only 4 points. Otherwise great.

A very nice place in the countryside. Even on foot you can quickly reach all the shops. If you have the option of self-sufficient camping, this site is the perfect option. The hosts are also very friendly, courteous and give good tips about the region. We are already planning our next weekend there, highly recommended!
You shouldn't actually say it, as "insider tips" are then quickly overrun. It is a very beautiful and relaxing place. We were here all by ourselves. We would love to come again. Best regards Andreas and Monika
This was our second time here and we enjoyed our time on this beautiful piece of land. The existing seating furniture and fire barrel were very practical. The fact that the area is fenced in meant that the dog could run around freely.
This is the fourth time we have been to this great place. This time with friends. We had a fantastic evening and were able to watch shooting stars and even the northern lights. The sheep run around freely in summer, so you might find some of their droppings here and there, but it wasn't a problem for us :). We are already looking forward to the next time!

We booked very spontaneously on the same day and it was no problem to arrive a few hours later. The site is very idyllic. You can hardly hear any cars in the evening and you're just a few minutes' drive from the shops. We were only there for one night, but we really enjoyed it :)
This place is really cool. We stayed there for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. We decided to stand directly above the trees and that was perfect for us. You have it all to yourself. There are a few sheep running around in the area but they are not trusting or annoying when sitting outside. The weather wasn't great for us but the spot definitely has potential for really great sunsets. It was really practical for us to be able to go shopping on foot as we could leave our roof tent pitched. The site is still far away from houses and you can only hear the road at a distance, but at night there is practically nothing going on. The contact is super friendly and uncomplicated. In any case, everything was perfect for us! Many thanks ! And don't be surprised if some of the cows next door escape! According to the neighbors and Josefine, they do this often and find their way back on their own. Just keep calm and watch 😁

Super nice place. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. You can close the gates at the top and bottom which is ideal for campers with dogs. Internet reception is also very good with Telekom and O2 if you need it. We would love to come back. Best regards Jana and Thomas
We were there in the run-up to Christmas when there was snow. It was a really great experience and Josefine and her parents are super friendly and hospitable. We will definitely come back again after having been there in the summer. In winter with snow, the whole thing is magical in a different way :). Thank you for this great opportunity. Four-wheel drive is recommended depending on the weather.
Super dear HinterlandCamp landlady. everything was tippi toppi clean and we felt very comfortable with our 3 Womos and 3 dogs. Since you can completely lock the place, the dogs can run free all the time on the huge area. The adjacent mill hiking trail has been a very nice day stage with its 17km. In short, two of us have smoothly packed another night on it. Thank you Josefine for your uncomplicated hospitality.
Dear Josefine, we really enjoyed our stay at your Christmas tree plantation. After the short briefing by your mother, we had a relaxing night in the neighborhood of your sheep. The place was well suited for our station wagon with roof tent. The peace and quiet with some distance to the village was super, even the traffic noise of the nearby country road we have hardly noticed. Great that you stand in the fenced area and have the opportunity to use the existing tables, benches and fireplace. The latter we have saved for our next visit. Because we like to come back.
Josefine is a super lovely landlady. The property is not far from the village, so I felt safe, yet you have there absolutely his peace. The pitch is cozy and very practical by the already existing tables + benches. You should have drive-on wedges with you. My dogs and I felt very comfortable and explored the beautiful walking and hiking trails. It was a totally relaxing weekend. Thank you!
Unfortunately I could not arrive, but will make up for it. The contact was impeccable and very friendly. I am looking forward to explore this great place soon.

The place is totally special, in the middle of the growing Christmas trees. You stand all alone (or with another camper) and have lots of space and nature around you. Really dreamlike beautiful!
We were at the Christmas tree plantation for one night and it was wonderful. Despite 5 weeks in Scandinavia, this place is one of the nicest we've been to. Super idyllic and special, because when do you ever stand in the middle of so many Christmas trees? The sheep are also cute, we even got treats to feed, however, they were a bit shy, but still super nice :). Drive-up wedges we would recommend, because the terrain is partly sloping. Josefine as a hostess is also super sympathetic. We will definitely be back! 🥰

Well yes This review is even more positive than our last one we actually gave a week ago Yes We have been there twice in one week because it is super nice But this time It was incredible On one side an evening red which was incredibly beautiful And on the other side the rising full moon Wow wow wow And again many thanks to the hosts for the trust they have placed in me, which I do not want to explain further here And again thank you very much that there are people like you who allow others these impressions We come (if we may cheeky grin) dear gladly again
A beautiful quiet place. Ideal to switch off. Cows, sheep and many birds of prey to watch. Walking distance to supermarket and pizzeria. And since the property is fenced, I felt as a woman traveling alone, quite safe. In addition, nice hosts. Gladly again.

We had a nice weekend at Josefine's place. The sheep were there, but separated from us and the dogs by a fence. What huge sheep! Access was good despite dampness. Wedges were useful. Quiet and lots of space, nice corner for hiking. Will gladly come again. Thanks to Josefine and family!

That's how it should be! All alone between fir trees in the beautiful nowhere :-) nothing else there, but that was also so wanted, including the shooting stars. Welcome very nice, completely uncomplicated, we come back very gladly!
Very nice CampSpott. The hostess was very nice showed us everything. We could choose a nice place for our jeep with roof tent on the property. One is completely undisturbed in the Naturt. We will be happy to come back.
