The property with the Finnish cabin is in a fantastic location on the White Elster River. We were provided with an extra air mattress. Unfortunately, the water heater for the shower was out of order at the time. A warm shower in the evening after an active day would have been perfect. Otherwise, I highly recommend it. Thomas was very friendly. We’ll definitely be back.
We stayed there for one night. Communicating with Thomas was easy. We arrived at 10:00 a.m. Then we walked to Lake Cospuden and walked all the way around the lake with our dog. In the end, it was about 13 km. All around the lake, there are plenty of small swimming spots where you can cool off. We’ll definitely be back
We had 3 lovely days on Thomas' pitch, which is beautifully situated and has everything you need, electricity, water, toilet and shower. There is also a well-stocked fridge with cold drinks. Thomas is very nice and gave us good tips for bus and train trips to Leipzig. We will gladly come back
Thank you for letting us use the space! The site is right on the Weisse Elster. Outside the fence there is a lot of bicycle traffic. All the nicer that we had the nearby lake all to ourselves early in the morning without the hustle and bustle. since we were alone, we were able to master the narrow driveway to the property with our 7.50 m length. generally more suitable for smaller vehicles. all around a great place and an even more great host. THANK YOU!
Thomas is a very open and helpful host. His property really is a gem on Lake Cospuden! I felt well looked after and safe. Thank you very much for this experience!
Everything went very well. Thomas is very friendly and uncomplicated! The site is very nice and right on the river. It was very easy to get to Leipzig by bike. There is a beautiful clear lake nearby where we splashed around a bit. We'd love to stay again!
Thomas is a nice host, had everything under control. We were placed in his garden with our camper van - on the main path of the garden (hedge protected a little from prying eyes) and direct path to Lake Cospuden (10min walk), as well as another vehicle and his cart. Not directly on the watercourse of the Weisse Elster. Electricity/water all available. Small outside washbasin cold water, toilet use (clean) in a small wooden shed costs 2,00Euro/person/day. Wood and barbecue/fire bowl at the back of the garden with wooden seating area and view of the river. A relatively good parking space with bus connection (approx. 10-15min walk away) to Leipzig. 4 points: We unfortunately had truck noise in the morning from the canoe area next door, wood cutting neighbors, gardening, every pedestrian u cyclist could look in, except for the lake u sheep was nothing centrally located, alternative corner.
Wonderfully situated, you are also sheltered under trees. The property is laid out with a lot of passion and the host is really great. You can also use a small cottage for breakfast or work. The sanitary facilities are all there too. Definitely fun for a longer stay.
We stayed 1 night on the pitch with Thomas. He is a super nice, courteous, friendly and helpful host who has lovingly and uniquely prepared his property. We felt at home and wish Thomas all the best. Stay as you are!
Super host with whom you can talk about everything. Electricity in two days of just under 3 kWh was free. Otherwise Thomas makes everything possible.
We had a very nice time on a beautiful site. Thomas is very nice and helpful. We felt very comfortable.
We made a stopover at Thomas on our way south and didn't regret it. Everything worked out great and the location is very nice. A secluded property not far from the Cospudersee with a cozy restaurant (Auszeit) 100 meters away. Unfortunately Thomas was in hospital and couldn't meet us in person, we wish him a speedy recovery. From us there is a clear recommendation.

Highly recommended, very nice, helpful and pleasant host. The wise Elster flows by the property. A small river for canoeing and paddle boating. Garden restaurant within sight. It was very nice with Thomas
Actually a nice location but unfortunately completely overpriced. 36 a night and then you have to pay extra for the toilet - that's a bit steep for a place in the front garden with a makeshift toilet and outdoor shower. Thomas was very nice though.

I liked it very much, great and clean pitch in the countryside. Everything important like WC, fresh water and shower on site. Thomas is super nice. Absolutely recommendable, I would definitely like to come back.
We only stayed with Thomas for one night. Everything went really well, we called him briefly at the barrier 50 m from his property and two minutes later we were parked under trees with electricity and water. There is also a small outdoor shower with cold water and a small courtyard toilet. Highlights nearby: five minutes' walk to the bathing lake with snack bar and dog beach, one minute to a very good restaurant with a small, fine menu and very fair prices. Recommended parking space for a maximum of two vehicles.
The communication with Andreas was great. A very nice quiet pitch under fir trees. We liked it very much.
We felt very comfortable with Thomas in the garden! The pitch is idyllically situated under trees and everything you need is there. The booking and the communication with Thomas were totally uncomplicated. We will definitely be back again!

Very nice little pitch in Thomas's garden, seating, bad weather TV hut, toilet, outdoor shower. Everything you need. Short walk to the lake and you are also quickly in the center of Leipzig. It was once again wonderful with Thomas. The proximity to the lake, the many bike paths and with the bike also right in the city is hard to top. Vacation with dog is very enjoyable at Thomas. It was a great and quiet place to stay just outside Leipzig.
Nice and helpful hosts. Accommodation simple but clean and functional. The bathroom could use a little work as the sink is outdoors when it rains. All in all a nice stay.
Thomas is very reliable and friendly. The site is located in the green, is designed with extra toilet and outdoor shower. Nice place to sit by the rushing river. The city center is in. About 40 minutes by foot and train to reach. We have not seen everything and like to go there again.
A great situated pitch. Lake and river for swimming in the immediate vicinity. Super suitable for nature lovers as well as for sightseeing tours. Thomas is a nice and uncomplicated host. Shower, toilet, fireplace, TV room - a lot of comfort for little money!

Were 3 super days with Thomas and his little idyll. The surroundings are great for cycling and water sports. To the center to Leipzig it is not far and very good to explore by bike. We come back with pleasure.
We have stood here one night, because longer was unfortunately not possible. Gladly we would have spontaneously stood even longer, but our place neighbors have already come up with the idea. Is also possible if all campers agree. We had a nice stay and will definitely come again. The location to the lake is top. Thomas is very friendly and a great host!
We have felt completely comfortable. So comfortable that we spontaneously stayed 2 days longer. The place has a great location. To the lake it is 10 minutes walk and in the city you can go super by bike. In addition to the pitch, you can use a small cottage. We did that on two evenings because it rained and our baby slept in the camper. There is also a nice fire pit by the river. Thomas lives on the property and is always approachable. He gave us great tips for excursions.
Thomas is a friendly host. Although everything was very short notice it worked out great. We stood in a secluded spot under trees and were at the nearby lake. Our dog also liked it well
A cozy spot in the garden with shady conifers. Great for summer temperatures, also the outdoor shower! The entrance with the 7.50m Womo was a bit sweaty because of much allotment traffic and circles, but Thomas has stood by us energetically. Any time again to the Cospudener Lake 🥰.
It was very, very nice with Thomas. Thomas is really nice and helpful. Everything was made possible :) To the sound of the White Elster we slept after cozy campfire rounds as good as not at home. The Cospi with umpteen bathing places is only 10min walk or 3min by bike away. We come very gladly again. Thank you, dear Thomas. And thanks to the 1.05m board slipped on our way home also nix more forward through. Hihi :) Many greetings from Erfurt from Tini, Flo, Pamela and Andi.

If there were, I would choose Thomas as host of the year always cheerful un helpful. His small perfect self-made paradise is located on the Elster with canoe pier. 5Minuten to CosbuderSee,20 minutes by bike to the city center, Sandstrsnd , Hundedestamd, Auenwald. One should actually not rave so, so that this unique spot still remains a Geimtipp. Thank you Thomas

An idyllic place in the garden. Everything clean and tidy. We felt very comfortable. I love the garden shower. Thomas as a host is very dedicated and friendly. We like to come back but then we bring a little more time. There are many recreational opportunities in the area.

We spent a wonderful long weekend at Thomas. The distance to Lake Cospuden is within 5-7 minutes walking distance. For our Labrador Emil there are beautiful walkways directly in front of the site. At Thomas it is nice and quiet and no matter what we needed , Thomas made it possible. Thank you also for our evening together at the campfire right next to the White Elster. We will certainly come again!
A great property, prepared with love for the guests, nothing is missing here. Not far away a lake with sandy beach (even a section for the four-legged friends), great hiking and biking trails in the middle of nature. Dear camping friends, highly recommended...
