Very beautiful and natural terrain! The contact with Udo was always excellent! Pitch with a Crafter just sufficient. For people like us, with two very watchful dogs, it is perhaps helpful to know that the pitch is right next to a busy country lane. The location is great and we would be happy to come back anytime. Absolute recommendation
Super uncomplicated! Nice contact. Pitch further up in the forest not directly on the lake. The lake is super beautiful! Fire pit also great. Gladly again!

A wonderful site, beautifully situated on a refreshing little lake. The pitch is spacious, the grounds around the lake are excellent and ideal for swimming. Nice secluded place. However, the pitch is a bit small and not directly on the lake. More could be made of the site. Definitely more than ok for one night :)
A nice quiet location. My first night in the camper on Udo's pitch makes me want more. The dogs had fun too. Everything was fine.

A beautiful place! The pitch itself is rather small and a bit uneven, but it was perfect for us in the T3. The grounds are great and the lake is a dream! We went swimming despite the rain and really enjoyed the natural surroundings. The communication was very nice and uncomplicated. We would love to come back!
Super quiet place! We had both dogs with us, which we could let run free because of the fence. We only noticed a few swimming visitors on the sidelines, as the gates for pedestrians are not at the pitch. The lake is super cool and clean! Udo responded quickly and sympathetically. We will definitely be back! Thank you very much!

The pitch is nicely secluded with a small fire pit. The lake is ideal for dogs, but for a bathing lake it is not easy to get in.

The property is really idyllic and beautiful. You are in the middle of nature and completely undisturbed. The pitch is rather small, but there are various opportunities to make a campfire on the site, especially the spot by the lake offers plenty of space. Unfortunately, we were unlucky as our dog had a lot of ticks in his fur at some point. That's the less idyllic side of nature that you can't change. Communication with Udo was smooth and very pleasant.
A true idyllic gem in the hinterland. Very easy to reach, but still secluded to enjoy a great break. The lake and the whole area invite you to explore and the contact with Udo was quick and friendly. The pitch is not that big and on the way, but the places to stay are not visible. We would love to come back a third time 😊

My partner and I were there with our 3 year old daughter and it was really nice. Exploring the surroundings, the campfire or even the lake itself were a welcome change and provide a nice ambience. The only thing we wished would have been mowed before again, because of our daughter. Nevertheless, it was all in all very very nice and is definitely worth a trip. We are already looking forward to the next time.
Super hosts, beautiful spot. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend this spot. The only thing that has disturbed something, was that the spot is located directly on a dirt road.
Very nice spot
The terrain is magical! Small paths lead around and to the pond, which is easy to reach in a few places. The water is very clean and quickly quite deep, you should wear bathing shoes to go in. Our dog was incredibly comfortable. The site is not far from a busy recreational trail. Unfortunately, we had a lot of air traffic at night on Cologne-Bonn. Nevertheless, the site is a real gem, some wilderness, built fireplaces and great water for dog and man!
A beautiful spot earth! Super quiet, lots of blackberries, good water quality and super to reach. In the nearby village there is everything in case of need what may have been forgotten. Very gladly again! Thank you Udo

Beautiful place on a beautiful quiet lake

Despite changeable weather, beautiful, idyllic place in the middle of nature. Uncomplicated contact with owner. There is much to observe, whether deer, fox or birds of prey, just wonderful. A dirt road runs adjacent, here from time to time walkers and dog owners pass. The best, a lady asked if we minded if she went with the family to the lake. This is a little below in the grove. Very nice, the contacts with the people here!

Great place: complete isolation, 50 m to the lake and deer on the meadow opposite. Ideal for dogs. Was a wonderful short trip - thank you!
Very nice, quietly located site. To one side you stand on the dirt road, but there is very rare and also only pedestrian / bicycle traffic. The lake is beautiful and you come well ran, you should be sure-footed, because the way up / down is quite steep. Otherwise, our 2 nights were really nice, the fireplace is surrounded by trees and bushes, very cozy!
The care by host Udo was optimal: he was always available for us and has taken care very nice. The pitch is - especially by the nearby forest lake - the hammer. We felt extremely comfortable and will definitely come again. Thanks to Udo for his hospitality!
It was a great three days on Udo's property. With the weather was quite a bit going on at the lake. If dogs are present, certainly good to know. But the morning was ours and we enjoyed it to the fullest. We'll be sure to come back again when it's cooler to hike. Oh and don't forget mosquito repellent. In the evening it did a mosquito spiral and so could watch the fireflies without distraction. The contact with Udo has earned more points than can be given here. Thanks for it.
We were already for the second time with the tent at the Mückensee. Very idyllic and in the middle of nature, mostly you have his peace - now and then someone goes there for a walk or even bathing in the lake. To the campsite actually never comes anyone of the visitors. On Father's Day there was a little more going on - but understandable :) For camping with small children we would not necessarily recommend the place because the terrain around the Mückensee is partly very steep. What we particularly liked: The campground has a direct fireplace (at the sites at Hinterland already rather rare) and is located in the middle of greenery. The lake is great for swimming and cooling down. Communication with Udo was uncomplicated via WhatsApp or email. The meadow was in May 2023 a bit high at the campsite. This made it a bit more difficult to set up the tent and we had a lot of ticks at the campsite this time. We are nevertheless very happy that Udo makes the Mückensee also accessible for camping and would definitely come here again.
We have spent the night with the tent on the RV campground. The open space was not overly large, but has loosely enough for our 2-person tent. The small lake and the surrounding forest are fantastically beautiful. The contact in advance was nice and uncomplicated.

We were here in January. It had already rained a lot in advance and shortly before we arrived also snowed a lot. Udo pointed out to us in advance that an approach was only possible with a four-wheel drive vehicle. For us with a Sprinter 4x4 no topic. There was then in advance also once again accurate information about the site by email. Everything is well organized, very quiet place in the middle of the forest. Of course, no VE or similar available. Everything you take into the forest, you take out again. So that's the way it should be.
Beautiful secluded place to camp. Who is looking for the perfect tranquility is right here. Despite the hidden quiet location, you are back in civilization in a few minutes. Communication was straightforward, informative and friendly. We will definitely be back!

The place is very nicely located. The night was very quiet and we had a beautiful sunrise in the morning. The host was very friendly and explained everything to us. I would like to come again.
Beautiful lake in the middle of nature. Who wants peace and nature is exactly right there. From time to time someone from the area comes by to swim a round in the lake. Usually you are there but really alone. In the evening you could watch and also hear many animals. A beautiful, quiet place.
Very sweet place with fireplace and a few meters to the lake (not directly, about 50m walk). The campsite is away from the road and therefore very quiet. At the lake you can eat at a wooden table, drop into the water on a liana or go into a shallow place. We liked it very much and we would come again!

Wonderful place to relax and unwind. Admittedly, the weather has of course also played along. Several times a day we enjoyed the lake with our dogs. We could also start hiking with the dogs directly from the Mückensee, nice mix of meadows and forest. Thank you for this opportunity, Udo!
We had a great time with Udo. Especially our two sons 7 and 10 will remember this experience in this great place for a long time. Especially the tawny owl call in the dark, that was a unique and exciting experience. Thank you Udo for this beautiful place.

The place is a little small for a large motorhome, but beautiful and very idyllic location. The organization has also worked great and we have felt completely comfortable! We come back with pleasure!

Super site for camping is a lot of fun there. from time to time people can come by but rather very rarely. But no one disturbs because the place is very large. Super site gladly again :)

Thank you for letting us spend a wonderful night at the campsite. This is very quiet and you can just take time out and enjoy the peace of nature. But my personal highlight were a few fireflies that came by later in the evening. For all parents: my 14 year old godson was thrilled!
It was really a pleasure to get to know this place. The fireflies, the raspberries, the birds, butterflies and fish, the wonderful water - we enjoyed everything very much. And it touched us to experience the vision of sharing what is precious to oneself. It felt like: there is a beautiful piece of earth that belongs to a person who fences it for protection, and at the same time it belongs to itself, and everyone is welcome who does not pollute or destroy anything.
Super place, super lake, super easy handling. We liked the quiet and seclusion best.
I can recommend the place 100%. The campground is protected and super prepared. Access to the lake is about 50m from the campsite and there is a rope swing ;) In addition, some hiking trails pass directly at the place, so you can start from there super directly.
The contact with Udo was great, the place is very nice and the lake and nature around it untouched and perfect for relaxing!
So the lake is times the hammer. There were hardly any hikers or other guests so that we were completely among ourselves. The campground is super laid out with a fireplace in the middle. Sufficiently large for 10 tents. The mosquitoes kept within limits, however, everything was full of ticks, but so it is in nature. A small idyll, absolutely recommended.
We were two nights with our camper van at the lake. It is super nice located in the green, away from any hustle and bustle. The contact with Udo was super fast, very friendly and uncomplicated. We come again with pleasure

Very nice host and incredibly beautiful place. Perfect to relax and feel good. The lake is perfect for swimming, the area is peaceful and natural. Except for individual walkers, you are alone there and can relax and enjoy nature and silence. Nice getaway from everyday life.

Everything super and uncomplicated. The place was easy to reach thanks to the super description and offers great opportunities for a very relaxing stay in the middle of nature. In the morning we were greeted by a pair of wild geese right outside the window. We will definitely come back in the summer!

Very nice contact and very nice small pitch near the lake. In the morning there are quite a few walkers in good weather, so recommended to park the camper with its back to the entrance. Fireplace is 2 minutes walk from the site.
