My wife Viktoria, my children, and I run the Schusterbauerhof, an organic farm that has been in our family for generations, in Södingberg, Voitsberg District, Styria, Austria. My wife and I met and fell in love while working in the city hotel industry. Nevertheless, we were drawn to the countryside, to my family, and we took over my parents’ farm. Since we’re both hosts through and through—and with all our hearts—and we really missed it, we decided to rent out a vacation home and also welcome (camping) guests to the farm. It’s very important to us to provide children, parents, and anyone else who wishes to do so with the space, room, and time to experience themselves and nature in complete freedom.
