We were able to move into a spot in paradise on the spur of the moment 😊 Birgit’s garden is a beautiful little corner of the world that she and her family have lovingly created. Hats off to so much dedication, creative ideas, and love for chickens. We also really loved the outdoor kitchen, which every guest is free to use as much as they like. Equally awesome is the chance to get creative yourself whenever the time is right. We’ll definitely be stopping by again on our next trip up north.
It was a wonderful stay in a gorgeous, lovingly designed garden with amazing mosaic and willow artworks. Everything was just perfect!!
A very nice place with a gorgeous and very creative garden. The booking and check-in process were very friendly and hassle-free. There are many great recreational activities around the beautiful Schaalsee, which is right nearby.
Birgit was so nice! Unfortunately, I couldn't stay that long with my dog—it was too hot. Birgit even refunded some of my money, which was really nice of her. She has a really beautiful, large garden with lots to explore.
A lovely spot in the garden, a great outdoor kitchen and bathroom, and helpful tips on places to swim in the area. A hassle-free stay.
It was a wonderful experience and a real treat for the eyes. Birgit was a very kind and friendly host. We look forward to stopping by again sometime.
Unfortunately, we can't give more than 5 stars. The hostess and the place were very charming. The garden is designed with an incredible amount of love and a natural feel. It was one of the most beautiful places we visited on our trip.

I was in Birgit’s wonderful garden with my T4, “Oma Freeda.” It’s full of all kinds of surprisingly beautiful spots and nooks. My parking spot was nice and quiet, close to the house. In the workshop, Birgit explained everything I needed to know to create a wonderful mosaic artwork. Thank you. Thanks to a secret tip for a day trip, I found the perfect spot at Schalsee. I can only recommend that everyone take a vacation there at least once :) Thank you, Birgit, for your kindness and thoughtfulness.

Birgit and Mike were incredibly friendly and helpful hosts. We felt right at home from the very first moment. The garden and our campsite itself were absolutely wonderful. The bathroom was beautifully designed with great taste and attention to detail. Unfortunately, we didn’t bring any bikes with us, but Birgit and Mike came up with a fantastic solution for us right away and on the spot. We’ll definitely be back, and we wish Birgit and Mike many wonderful guests who are sure to feel just as comfortable as we did.
