Hello, I’m Laurids. This place is a little labor of love for me, alongside my day job. I’m not always on-site, but that’s exactly what makes it so charming: everything is simple, relaxed, and based on trust. You won’t find a traditional campground here, but rather a quiet corner of the Spreewald right on the water—a place to unwind, take a deep breath, and enjoy yourself. I’m thrilled to share this beautiful spot with others and hope you’ll enjoy your time here just as much as I do. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Yet another real highlight among the Hinterland campsites. Not only does this place offer a beautiful, peaceful campsite surrounded by nature in the Spreewald, but it also features plenty of activities. Canoeing and a volleyball court. Boat tours and much more. The campsites are spacious and clean. We were particularly impressed by the warm hospitality of the owner and his family. They are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help—you can tell right away that this place is run with passion. Communication with Laurids was absolutely hassle-free and extremely friendly. If you’re looking for relaxation, nature, and an exciting atmosphere, this is the perfect place for you. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest and will definitely be back. Thank you so much for the wonderful time—we highly recommend it!
I really enjoyed my time at Laurids' place. There's direct access to the water and plenty of space on a beautiful meadow. Communicating with Laurids was easy. I'd love to go back there soon!
Perhaps the nicest host so far—the communication was truly top-notch. Unfortunately, I left the place that same evening because loud Schlager party music was blaring from the festival grounds diagonally across the street, and more and more people were pouring in there. So if you prefer peace and quiet over a party, you should check the event schedule beforehand ;) Laurids and I parted ways amicably that evening 🙏🏼💚
We were able to spend a wonderful, impromptu stay on Laurid’s property. It’s in a truly fantastic, peaceful location right on the Little Spree. The river naturally invites you to go paddling right away, and there are several boats available. Not far from the property, there are a few restaurants within walking distance or reachable by boat, if you’d like to go out for a meal. Otherwise, fire up the grill or camping stove in the garden, spend time together, and just unwind. Thank you so much for the wonderful time and the smooth experience—see you next time 😊
We had a wonderful time here! Great spot in the Spreewald—we were all by ourselves and had the entire property to ourselves😃. Very friendly and prompt communication and a warm welcome; we even received a welcome gift 😍. It’s a great starting point for kayaking trips—you can set off right from the property or, if you prefer, join guided tours offered by various local businesses within walking distance.
