A truly extraordinary place. But so wonderfully peaceful and charming. You hear animal sounds you never hear anywhere else, and huge rabbits dart right past you. Dear Otto, thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality—I’d love to come back ❤️
Otto takes great care of his guests and is just so nice and friendly. The bathroom and shower were always clean and stocked with toilet paper. We had a wonderful time! We'll definitely be back!
Otto is a really nice guy and personally welcomes every guest; we had a really nice spot, with electricity and water right at the site, peace and quiet right by the pond, the restroom facilities were super clean and not old, and by bike you can get to Tecklenburg or Ibbenbüren quickly and easily. If you love nature and tranquility, Otto’s place by the ponds is the perfect spot for you; We’ll definitely be back—many thanks to Otto for making this beautiful spot available to us.

Otto’s is a really lovely, peaceful place where you can truly relax. It’s a beautifully landscaped site; all the campsites are graveled and spaced far enough apart that you really feel like you’re all to yourself. The restroom facilities are also very well laid out and easy to reach from all the campsites. We’d love to come back again. Jenny and Christoph
A beautiful, quiet place with very clean restrooms and showers. The host is super friendly and organized our arrival perfectly. It was a wonderful stay—we’d love to come back.
Super easygoing and friendly. The campsite is wonderfully sheltered. Thanks to the trees, you’re right on the lake, far away from the hustle and bustle. There’s even a restroom and shower on site if you don’t want to use the RV for that. They responded immediately to any last-minute questions, and there’s electricity and water right at the site. What more could you ask for?
A wonderful place to unwind and relax. We went on some lovely bike rides in the area. Otto is a super nice host—unobtrusive but very helpful. The small, immaculately maintained bathroom was perfect for us. We’d love to come back.

We spent two nights at Otto’s with our rooftop tent and highly recommend this campsite. Getting there was a breeze; the campsites are well-signposted, and water and electricity were very easy to access. The campsites are well spaced out, so you hardly notice the other campers at all; the site has a beautiful and peaceful location right on the water. The restrooms and the kitchen area for washing dishes were very clean and spacious. Otto is a very kind and accommodating host—we’d come back anytime.
Otto isn’t just a very kind and open-hearted host who shares his small, peaceful idyll in the countryside with campers—he’s also easygoing and friendly to deal with in the lead-up to your visit. When we arrived at the campsite, he took plenty of time to welcome us and show us the little cabin where the restrooms and dishwashing area are located. The campsite itself is surrounded by trees and fields on higher ground, making it wonderfully peaceful. The sites are generously sized and, thanks to the three small lakes, are somewhat spread out. The ground is covered with gravel, providing a firm surface. So if you’re looking to take a short or longer break, this is the perfect spot. We were traveling with friends, and all of us—including our furry friends—felt very comfortable there. Otto assigned us two adjacent spots between the lakes so that we could park our vehicles side by side. We’re already looking forward to our next trip!
We stayed there for two nights to go fishing and felt very comfortable. Otto is very friendly, helpful, and always checks in to make sure everything is okay and that we have everything we need. There’s a restroom on site; we didn’t use the large house with the kitchen and bathroom. Even when it rains, there’s a small seating area under a roof overhang. We didn’t catch much from the pond, but it was very relaxing and peaceful. Thank you very much.
A beautiful, peaceful lakeside stop. Dark skies and silence, other than the birds and frogs. Otto provided a warm welcome and met us on arrival. Clean toilet and shower. A 5* stop.
The spot was great—actually, all the spots are great; we would have been happy with any of them. We were super satisfied and had a view of the water from everywhere, plus we got to watch a family of geese—it was so peaceful, a truly wonderful place to relax. Otto stopped by, explained and showed us everything—and was friendly and helpful the whole time; everything was so easy—we’d love to come back! Thank you so much!

Our time at Otto's was simply wonderful. To be honest, we'd love to keep this hidden gem to ourselves so it doesn't get too popular. We were able to really unwind here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The restrooms, the campsites—everything is just outstanding. We'd love to come back!
We spent a wonderful weekend at this small, lovingly maintained campground. Right in the middle of the countryside and surrounded by nature—you really can’t get any closer to nature than this! If you’re looking for peace and relaxation and want to be close to nature, this is the perfect place for you. We felt completely at home and would love to come back. It's just the right place to really relax. I've rarely seen such a beautiful starry sky.
I was looking for a quiet spot to take a little break from everyday life. I found just what I was looking for here. I felt right at home. Otto is a very nice host; I'll definitely be back.
Communication with Otto was excellent; he’s a very nice person who loves kids. I stayed there for one night with my son and my father-in-law… The campsites are very spacious and very clean, and they’re beautifully situated by the ponds… We were able to build a nice fire and enjoy the idyllic setting… We’ll be back…
