An idyllic spot in nature with rustic charm Yesterday, we spent the night in our rooftop tent at this idyllic campsite right next to the Angus barn. If you’re looking for absolute peace and quiet, this little dead-end village with just under 100 residents is the perfect spot—you’re truly surrounded by nature here, you can hear the cows in the barn, and it’s a wonderful place to relax, go for a walk, or set out on hikes to the Rothaarsteig or bike rides. The playground with the Kneipp facility, just 200 meters away, is also a great highlight. The site has a very rustic, natural character. However, be sure to bring wheel chocks to properly level your vehicle. During the day and in the evening, it’s wonderfully secluded; at night, you occasionally hear the occasional car on the nearby road, which slightly detracts from the sense of complete seclusion. Overall, though, it’s a truly pleasant stay for anyone who wants to enjoy country life and nature in a laid-back way!

Nice hosts. The pitch is sloping, but we could stand in front of the stable, which was great.
Beautiful lonely place in great surroundings for hiking or biking. The site is graveled and has about 4% slope - ramps are useful here. Beautiful view into the greenery, from the cowshed behind you hear, smell and see nothing. In the farm store there are local delicacies (not only, but also sausage) around the clock. You can make tours of different length and difficulty directly from the place. The network of paths is very good and in beautiful places there are almost always benches to rest. I felt very comfortable and will be happy to come back! :)

Had a long weekend to All Saints and were the first time with Hinterland on the road. It was exactly as described. Great contact, quiet pitch, nice hike and for the physical well-being in the 24 hour farm store also found what 👍. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come again. Thank you for the quiet and relaxing time. 🙋♀️

Very friendly hosts. The place was really very quiet and secluded. Water can be filled up for a donation at the farm. Definitely recommended
After a nice welcome at the farm, we drove next to the stable to the parking lot. The place is gravelled, drive-on wedges are necessary. We were then still shopping in the farm store and have supplied us for dinner. Tatjana brought us some eggs. On Easter Sunday there was also a lovingly decorated Easter basket in front of the camper. Thanks again for that... Have felt very comfortable with you.

We were in January for one night at this pitch. The site is located as described near a stable, which was not a disadvantage for us. We slept very well as it was really very quiet there. We were warmly welcomed and would certainly want to use the place again when we are in the area.

A very nice and quiet pitch. It is very interesting to watch the Angus cattle in the barn. The farm store offers great quality and selection. Definitely recommended!

Very quiet campsite. Have used there 2 days the landscape for mountain biking.Very nice hostess, and always time to chat relaxed.Would go there again at any time.
