Hello, we stayed for three nights on the grounds of the F 60—it’s simply breathtaking! We were greeted warmly and shown around. The evening atmosphere is truly special, with the steel colossus in the background and the birds singing. Thank you very much, André
André and Marcus are the perfect hosts for this location. They’re hospitable, helpful, and great communicators. The campsite is quiet in the evenings. Snack bar and restrooms available. A grocery store is about 5 km away and accessible by car.

We had a quiet night here and had the grounds all to ourselves. The staff were very helpful and even arranged for a power adapter for our camper. In the evening, we were able to build a campfire in the excavator bucket. The tour up the F60 to a dizzying height of 74 meters was fantastic.
We had a wonderful time at the site and were welcomed very warmly by everyone. There’s a beautiful view of the F60, you can take a relaxing walk to the nearby lake and enjoy the lovely surroundings, and even after the visitor mine closes, you can use the key to get back onto the grounds. Thank you so much—we’d love to come back! 😊
Against the massive backdrop of the F60, we had a unique experience during the Easter break, despite the cold nights. Marcus and his team took great care of us—we had everything we needed. Electricity, water, restrooms, and a really cool fire pit with wood—it’s all there. If you want to combine nature with culture and tradition, this is the perfect place for you. Lake Bergheider, the surrounding forests, and the lakes of the Lusatian Lake District invite you to explore on various excursions. Mining brings people together—whether above or below ground. GOOD LUCK ⚒️ We’d love to come back.
An unbelievably great spot on the F60. Where else can you get a view like this! And luckily, in connection with the theater performance, there was also the night lighting of the conveyor bridge including sound. But also peace, starry skies and nature all around. Many thanks also for the friendly welcome. We would love to come back.

Fantastic and possibly unique pitch! We received a very friendly welcome and were able to choose our pitch very flexibly. The toilet at the visitor mine can be used day and night. The guided tour of the F60 and the swimming lake were also great! Highly recommended.

We stayed here for 3 nights with our dog and were very impressed. Would gladly give it even more stars. The tour to the F60 is absolutely recommendable. The operator and the staff are very friendly, helpful and a really great bunch. Anyone who loves nature will get their money's worth. We will definitely be back
We went there for a short detour: communication, organization, price - everything was fine. There was even an extra cable drum so that we could stand on the hill. And the view of the bridge is very impressive. Special bonus: unfortunately we got stuck in a treacherous sand bunker while driving away. André was a great help, organizing a tractor from the village to pull us out of the mess. Mega service. A thousand thanks again to the tractor driver. We will be back and will recommend to others.

A very special pitch, set against an impressive industrial backdrop and yet surrounded by plenty of nature and tranquillity. We stayed there for two nights in April, received a friendly welcome and felt very comfortable.

At night in the museum... We spontaneously decided on the spot and were allowed to choose a nice place on the grounds of the F60. A nice team from the visitor mine, a campfire in an excavator shovel and on the 2nd evening there was a nice light show with sound effects on the conveyor bridge. The area invites you to explore, we loved it.
Something completely different! Exactly as described you stand alone in the industrial idyll ... very nice boss and troop on site! Quick access (key) to the lake. And you are really alone in the forest with a view over the "crane" and "lake". Try it out!
We have found a beautiful, interesting spot here. Surrounded by forest and a huge open space for us and the small van. André is very sociable, friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable with you. Thank you very much.

We are thrilled: a super friendly host (THANK YOU André for everything!!), a magnificent industrial monument, a more than idyllic pitch: trees, heather ground, possibilities for a hammock, a fire bowl (observe the forest fire level, of course) - you can relax and really have the hinterland to yourself. The Bergheider See lake invites you to swim. This pitch really is a 10/10! It couldn't have been more beautiful!
André and the Hinterland team gave us a really great time on the F60. Arrival, handover and briefing by André were totally relaxed and super friendly. If we had had any problems, someone would have been there at all times to help and advise us. The area is super large and you can easily find a quiet spot to relax. An impressive picture, day and night, for anyone who really wants to spend time on their own and with just a few people. We would come back at any time and thank you for the good time!

We - 2 people with a dog - were allowed to be guests at the F60 for 3 nights/4 days. We were very kindly welcomed and instructed by André's team and were allowed to find a nice spot in the sparse pine forest on the north side of the F60 site. You are completely alone here and only share the area with Roger Rabbit. After closing time, you are completely alone on the site, but you get a key and can leave the area and come back at any time - even by car. The toilet facilities were also not locked for us at night. On Saturday evening, you could take in the light and sound installation - it was unique! The Bergheider See also invites you to swim - even with a dog. The peace and quiet, even during the day, is simply indescribable. We felt very comfortable. Thank you for the pitch and the time we were able to spend with you. PS: Greetings to the canteen manager and many thanks to him: he gave our dog plenty of treats.

Very friendly welcome from André and his team on an exceptional, sheltered pitch right on the edge of the forest. Toilet use was also included. We felt very comfortable here. We also took part in the guided tour on the F60. The peace and quiet after 6 pm was a dream. We were able to go to the lake in the evening. The weather was also perfect. But the highlight was the light show on the F60. The sounds and lights were amazing. It wasn't the last time we were there. We'll definitely be back.

Very nice place on the edge of the forest with a view of the impressive F60. It was a very quiet and private place, although at the same time (exceptionally) a bus vintage meeting was held. Practical, well-maintained toilet facilities. The visit to the conveyor bridge is an experience in itself, but the overnight stay with the Bulli makes it a lasting, beautiful memory.
We say thank you for a wonderful weekend in a special and interesting environment. Nice welcome, André came over personally, no wishes left unfulfilled. Restaurant in Klingmühl was also great. Beautiful bike ride there. We can also recommend a guided tour of the F60. Thumbs up!!!!

Indescribable. The location is stunning . André is super nice . Unfortunately there are only 5 stars to give. Pitch is on an elevation with a view of the transport bridge of the lignite open pit . In the background the lake , wind turbines and photovoltaics. Here, old meets new. Everything picobello. Organization Top. We come again.

A dream pitch! I had two great nights with campfire in the best weather. Andre and his team are super nice, helpful and hospitable, the place has everything you need and the view of the open pit excavator is unique.
Super location, you have free choice of place on the huge site. You are also completely alone, a maximum of one hinterland camper he allows... The F60 is illuminated in the dark and makes discreet working sounds over speakers, really ne Super scenery. Absolutely decelerating. We enjoyed it very much and come definitely wieder👍🏻

A really special spot, the "private" access to the lake after the closing time puts another on it. In addition, the possibility of a campfire with this view. The sandy ground of the site was also optimal for our 3 year old, who had a lot to dig. Really highly recommended

Nice reception by the staff of the F60. From 18.00Uhr I and my three boys (10,6,2 years) had the area to ourselves. This was of course great for the boys. It is absolutely quiet and you have a very purist backdrop with the F60. Come again for sure.
This is already an extraordinary place. It is beautifully located, you look at quite a large piece of industrial heritage and a view of the lake gives it ;) We were very nicely welcomed and briefed. It was a great day.

Very friendly welcome on an exceptional, sheltered pitch directly at the edge of the forest. In this idyll you can switch off very well. We have spent 4 nights and have felt very comfortable. By bike you can quickly get to Finsterwalde. (about 5 km) André and his team are very friendly, helpful and responsive at all times. Water or electricity supply on request. Absolutely recommendable !

What can I say? A dream...great, absolutely quiet place in the middle of nowhere! André is just a great host. Even the toilets he has left open! I was definitely not the last time there! Thanks for everything!
Beautiful, sheltered site, right next to a small wood, with a view of the grandiose industrial monument. André himself instructed us. Starting point for various activities, such as a very interesting guided tour on the F60 or a walk to the lake, boating, cycling. WC is quickly accessible, water or electricity on request. André and his team are all very nice, helpful and communicative. We felt at home right away. And recommend the place with conviction and will definitely come again.

We spent a day and a night here and are thrilled. Super pitch in front of mega scenery. Bike tour around the lake is well possible with mountain bike... André and all the other staff are more than friendly, easy-going and in a good mood. We come back with pleasure.

Good stay with friendly team on site. André sent a message with info right after booking. WLAN I actually had with weak signal even up on the hill at sleeping place. It can happen that during the day also times the jeeps / quads drive by to go to their route.
