We felt right at home. It has everything you need, and there are beautiful trails right outside the house. Herwig is a really nice host. When we had trouble with our car, he helped us out and saved us a lot of stress. Thanks so much!

Here you have a small, idyllic island with an unusually large number of generous facilities. The absolute highlight is the various endangered chicken breeds that Herwig looks after there.

We stayed there last year and really enjoyed it. Herwig's Farm is perfectly located for a stopover, and we would definitely come back. I love the peace and quiet and the eggs, and our child has plenty to explore.

This was our second time there this year and it was very welcoming. We felt completely at ease. Herweg and his wife do a really great job. Everything is very uncomplicated there and we like to buy things in the little shop. There's always something new to discover. Everything is done with great attention to detail. We will definitely be back. Anyone looking for peace and quiet is in very good hands here.
Beautiful little place on the edge of a small village with an open-hearted, extremely helpful host! Unfortunately we were only passing through, but we will definitely be back for a longer stay!
The campsite is a small fenced-in meadow on which a maximum of 2 camping vehicles should be parked. We were lucky enough to be alone here. Nevertheless, the first night was anything but quiet. The neighbor was celebrating his birthday and had very loud music playing until 4 am. The washing area and shower facilities are positive. However, I must point out that the shower water is only cold unless you shower with a small trickle. (The instantaneous water heater is too small) Finally, we have to criticize that the communication was miserable or non-existent. Questions in advance were not answered AND the advertised prices did not match: 60ct/kwH and 3€/person and night were charged for the washroom. This should be advertised correctly.
We were warmly welcomed at the Resthof and spent 3 wonderful Easter days. You are very spacious with a maximum of two other campers on the orchard in the countryside. The farm is home to many old breeds of farm animals. We were woken up in the morning by the roosters and greeted by the sheep on the way to the clean sanitary facilities. In the farm store you can stock up on fresh eggs and homemade jams for breakfast. The surrounding area is great for exploring by bike. Our super nice and friendly host gives great tips for excursions. This beautiful place is perfect for unwinding. Dear Herwig - many thanks for your hospitality. We would love to come back. A very quiet, natural pitch with all the described comfort. Very nice hosts, an experience for especially but not exclusively for children. Lovely care in the small "Hofbauchladen" on site. Clear recommendation, we come back with pleasure!
We spent a night with our 2 year old son at Herwig. A nice place for old and young. We had a nice stay and Herwig was very helpful. We will be happy to come back again!

Nutztier Arche, a very nice place to relax, it is quiet, the owner gives you your space, is very friendly and helpful for all questions an open ear. We like to come back. It was simply relaxing. I think it's great that he has his rules and explains them to you on arrival. The garbage problem is pretty much the same for everything, in the village itself are also few trash cans therefore one has a problem with the garbage. A suggestion for all place landlords whether Hinterlandcamp or Landvergnügen, 10liter bag 1 € and for a 50 liter bag 5 €. That works well soas. We are willing to pay for it and that should be all, at home you have to pay. Just a suggestion.

A very nice old farm, with a great place for three mobile, or caravans on a large meadow. Herwig is a great host, always has an open ear for his guests and helps where he can. Even shower and toilet are available for guests, which is not necessarily self-evident. There is a lot to discover, and those who are looking for nature and some peace and quiet are in good hands with Herwig. There are some outdoor games available and even two bikes we were allowed to borrow. A small belly store with eggs, quail eggs and homemade jams have made our weekend perfect. A really nice and quiet place in a great area with lots of nature on and around the place. Herwig is a great guy and a nice host who helps wherever he can. Who does not get along with him, has done something wrong. The farm is very lovingly designed and there is something to discover at every turn. We come back in any case very happy.
Very friendly place for big and small. With attention to detail. If you need it everything is available. A walk is worthwhile.
A nice pitch, very nice for bike rides. Sanitary simple, but clean. If the 3 places are occupied you have to be patient with the one washroom u.U. or agree among themselves. Herwig is a friendly host. Since his barrel organ playing I can't get the "Englishman in New York" out of my head ;-). And fresh quail eggs for breakfast you don't have every day - recommendable. The tourist brochures are mostly outdated - suggestions, but no help in scheduling. Internet at our place (near the road) very weak, at the other two places good.
The place is in the middle of nature. Ideal for dog owners. The host was very friendly. The pitch is simple but well equipped. Supply and disposal, toilet, sink, washing machine, dryer, shower, small belly store ... available.

Everything super. Were unfortunately only for one night there very nice reception ,short briefing, everything ok. Very nicely laid out place, great "Federvieh" all around. In the morning loudly awakened by the rooster, which has not disturbed at all. We will definitely come again.

Grab it! :) You will find a rustic farm where there is something to discover in every corner. Here you can really let your soul dangle in the evening at the campfire. Both thumbs up!!! Great hosts and great place. The farmer's belly store has delicious products on offer. You can for small money, pick apples,mega yummy, as well as wheels, or borrow a fire bowl, it's huge and we had a wonderful time at Herwig's. Thank you for the wonderful stay. We will definitely be back.

I enjoyed my mini camping adventure with Herwig very much. I was warmly welcomed and immediately felt very comfortable. It is on the property everything so pretty, lovingly and also funny prepared. Also the area can be explored very well on foot. Hiking and geocaching are super possible here. Even bicycles are available for rent. 5 stars because EVERYTHING fit, I will definitely come back and bring my family ☺️ Julia (wife of Kai)

A really nice place to come down. The reception was warm and extremely friendly. The two really do it all with conviction and with a lot of love and fun. Who is looking for a place away from campsites that are overcrowded is exactly right here. A small farm store on the farm offers sausage, eggs, honey jams and drinks. Everything from own production or neighboring farms. Out of the gate and you are right in the field. Otherwise, everything is kept familiar. The sanitary facilities are rather simple but there is everything you need. We were there one night on the passage with off-road vehicle and roof tent. Everything was fine for us. If we should be next year again north on the road we will make here again a stop.

We were very warmly welcomed by Herwig. He takes a lot of time for his guests and is a really great host. You have everything you need on site. We would have loved to stay another night but had to move on. Thank you Herwig for your hospitality and your attitude towards life on this earth. There can't be enough people like that!
