I grew up in Rostock without animals, and now I have been living in the countryside with my husband and three children for 15 years, surrounded by a variety of animals. My training as a leisure tourism manager and further education as a tourism specialist form the basis for my work at the Waldhof. I take care of the office and organize purchasing, cleaning, and events. My husband is responsible for coordinating the staff and overseeing technology and animals. He also carries out forest education projects and answers questions about forests, wildlife, and hunting. His main job is as a forester. Our two professions complement each other very well, ensuring optimal cooperation. We look forward to hearing your stories.

Super nice place to spend a few nice days with children.
A beautiful and idyllic spot on earth! Very well organized small farm with a great farm store. We parked our camper van right next to the Texas cattle pasture. Plenty of opportunities for children to play and also a great place for hikers and/or mushroom hunters. Many thanks to you, we will definitely be back next year!!!

Very nice place, friendly hosts on site and plenty of space for everyone. If you like animals, you can help feed them or take riding lessons. If you don't like them so close, you can watch the animals, enjoy the beautiful landscape, play in the playground or explore the surrounding area. Whether you are looking for community and contact or want to be on your own, there is a place for everyone. We can only recommend it 😊

We were there in April/early May with our van and it was absolutely fantastic. Our child loved feeding the animals every morning and had great fun in the playground. Isabel and Olaf are really great people. We also really enjoyed the guided tour with Olaf through the forest and learned an incredible amount. The big highlight was the pony ride with Berta. Our daughter was absolutely thrilled. The area is really beautiful. We would love to come back.

It was wonderful days for us and our daughter on the farm. Feeding animals (chickens, sheep, cats and rabbits) breakfast basket and homemade ice cream definitely a highlight.

A dreamlike farm in the middle of the green, it was just wonderful, thank you!
We were at Pentecost for two nights in the tent on the farm. On the second night the horses were our direct neighbors, as our place borders directly on one of the paddocks. We met many returning guests. The barbecue evening keeps what it promises, sausage from the game, shredded vegetables,many salads and stick bread. The description of the provider meets the object and the offer 100 percent. On the playground, the children can occupy themselves for hours. Questions are usually answered quickly. You have to dare to ask them and this is my weakness. The breakfast basket contains products that can be chosen on the spot. The hike with the forester has expanded my knowledge. So from my point of view beautiful and grateful hosts. I will visit the hostess sometime, autumn or winter.
We had a very wonderful stay all Bullerbü, with great breakfast basket, feed animals together and ride out. In addition, there is a great playground for the kids. We will be back again!

We had a really great time with our camper with Isabel on the farm. It is lovingly laid out, for children there is plenty to discover and also a small program - ideal for us. On 2 days we rented bikes, there was even a trailer for children. We can really highly recommend a vacation here. Logistically, the missing possibility for the disposal of the chemical toilet was a bit challenging, but that is yes announced and a toilet to dodge is available. All in all, a clear recommendation, (especially with children) for those looking for something away from the classic campsites. We have enjoyed it very much.
We had a very quiet night and fell asleep and woke up with horses right outside the camper window. Since we arrived later than expected, we have unfortunately met in the evening no one more who could have given us some information. But the animal feeding in the morning was great, our daughter was thrilled! The breakfast was also very tasty. If we are in the area again, we will be happy to come back!

Very nice farm with lots of animals and recreational activities. The farm store is also very cute. Unfortunately, we sometimes had to wander around a bit on the farm to find a contact person. Despite reception opening hours. This made inquiries more difficult. The site directly between the paddock and cow pasture was super nice and we had more than enough space. An idyllic farm in the middle of the forest.

We were a week with our caravan, 2nd kids and dog (right by the paddock) on the farm. Our children found especially the morning feedings, barbecues and rides great. We adults were able to learn a lot on the forest walk, it was also a lot of fun for the kids. We especially appreciate that Isabel and Olaf with your team are open and warm. They have built an idyll and are environmentally conscious and exemplary with the animals. We want to go again in the fall over a weekend and next summer again a week.

Have felt totally comfortable there from the first moment. Quiet and beautifully located. Great hosts, ideal for cycling, hiking, horseback riding (lots of forest around) and families with children (playground, the expanse to romp and of course the possibility to ride ponies and feed animals). Definitely book the breakfast basket (which is great). Were there with our bus, had a pitch directly at the cattle pasture with a view of cattle, next door the paddock and of course forest. Electricity available, toilet and washing facilities in Waldstübchen given. Farm store has delicious things. Overnight stay in cabins also possible.
We were there for 2 days and it was beautiful. The kids were very comfortable and enjoyed the freedom. We come again
We had a short but wonderful stay at the Waldhof! A very idyllic, relaxed place with very nice people. The WoMo pitch is very flat, we did not need electricity, but there would have been the possibility, the toilets we could use without problems. For the kids is very much on offer and the barbecue evening was also for us vegetarians a great success with lots of salads, delicious sheep cheese and stick bread. We can only recommend this place and will certainly come again.

The access to the Bruchmühle is somewhat arduous. You have to drive about 2.5 kilometers on an unpaved and uneven gravel road to the destination. One is received for it by a nice host couple. The site assigned to me was quiet and there was enough space for table and chairs. The electricity connection was close to the pitch. The supply and disposal was no problem. During our stay was even a barbecue with delicious food offers. For families with children, the Bruchmühle offers an extensive program.
We spent a night at Isabel's farm. Coincidentally, the evening fell on the barbecue at the farm and we spent a great evening with bratwurst and stick bread. The next day before we left, the kids took the opportunity to go horseback riding! The view in the morning of the paddock is beautiful.
We were in the camper and with our two big dogs from 15-18.06. on the farm. The journey over the gravel road is to decelerate and has us tuned to the next few days. Our pitch very nicely situated, shady and sunny but no TV reception (which was not bad at all) cell phone reception very poor when no telecom. It was very quiet despite the many animals and it did not smell at all like a farm. The surrounding area invites with forest trails and lakes (3.5km distance) for hiking or biking. Isabel and her crew have the farm firmly under control, without hectic and stress. Everything is just decelerated. We had a great time, the delicacies from the farm store were a poem. The lamb sausages are highly recommended. Unfortunately, it was just too hot for us and the dogs, so we left two days earlier. But we want to come back, because there is still so much to discover. It's a great pitch, right by the paddock. The hosts are very nice and helpful. It was especially great for our kids (4 and 8 years) - since there is nothing but the farm far and wide, they could romp around quite carefree, were allowed to feed the animals, pet and ride. Despite rain and stormy weather, it was a successful time out for us parents and a weekend full of little adventures for the kids.
The farm is beautifully situated and in the farm store everyone can find something delicious for themselves. Around the farm the animals run on the pastures and fill themselves well. The hosts are very friendly and respond to all needs. The only negative is the noise of the highway in the distance.
